One simple and great form of training, is to reach out to your IP officers and ask them questions. They have a year of experience, lessons, and Key Club wisdom to pass down to you. Another resource to help prepare you for the new Key Club adventure is our LtG. They can help guide you through

different process and direct/give you resources to help better understand Key Club, your responsibilities, and more.

Planning

Planning ahead of the game can help with productive, confidence, time management, feelings over overwhelmingness, and more. Here are some things that can help you plan!

❏ Schedule your club and board meetings for the term with a brief agenda. ❏ Plan time for service events and fundraisers to ensure consistency throughout the term. ❏ Create plans for growth by looking at what last term strengths and weaknesses were ❏ A side note is to talk to your members about what they would like to see improved. Along with what IP officers recommend. ❏ Brainstorm goals ahead of time. So you have a clear idea of what you want your term to look like. ❏ Make sure to also have clear steps for each goal, so then they are easier to reach.

Goal Setting

One way to help set up you and your club for success is creating goals When brainstorming be sure to plan out with your fellow officers. And to make sure the goals are reached and you hold yourself and other officers accountable for work, have checkpoints and tasks for each officer for each goal. Here are some questions to help get you started peacocks!

Personal Goals

➔ How many services hours did I get last term? How can I increase I number of hours? How can I increase quality of the service events through leadership? ➔ What is a skill that I would like to see yourself improve at? How can Key Club and other things helps that? ➔ Finally, through my leaderships how can I increase the impact that I have on my home, shool, and community?

Club Goals

➔ How well did my club do last term in service and funds raised? How can we improve upon this? What was some things we did right and some we did wrong? ➔ How can we increase our clubs involvements in our division, district, and organization? What can we market to members to spark interest in it? ➔ What are the growth areas in our club?

Reflection

Reflection on the past can lead to growth and development towards a better tomorrow. That is true of whether it is in your personal life, club, division, or district. If we can recognize were we need to grow, we will be able to forage a path towards a future were we did grow. But as you look back don’t get hung up on what you did wrong, don’t forget to acknowledge everything that did grow and flourish in throughout the year. Your reflection on the end will lead to an amazing new beginning of a unforgettable journey. 07
