president introduction.
steele canyon
hi everyone!
I am Peyton Steffek, a senior at Steele Canyon! I have been a Key Club Officer for 3 years and this is my first term as President. I am very passionate about environmental conservation which is why many our events are centered on cleanups. My goal for the SCHS Key Club is to grow into a strong well rounded club. I also plan to raise funds and leave the club stronger than it has been in past years. Overall, I hope to cultivate a love for service and leave the underclassman with a well built group! :) club president Peyton steffek.

PTP stands for the Pediatric Trauma program. Pediatric trauma remains the leading cause of death and injury among children ages 14 and under in the
which will reduce the number of children who are killed or injured by trauma, ensuring all children live happy, healthy and safe lives. By donating, PTP is able to improve the outcomes for children who experience pediatric trauma by providing grants to partner hospitals, which enable them to reach out to their communities with educational materials, safety equipment and information on childhood trauma prevention. So basically, donations raised from club and division fundraisers are used to help fund hospitals and medical equipment!

Our LTG, Kathleen Nguyen, was dared to sit in an ice bath (dared from the winning club of Service Week Competition), so she held a Q&A during this DCM while sitting in an icy bath!
> bonus!
However, the ice bath actually turned warm because it was not set up correctly... sorry for the disappointment Peacocks! (don't worry, I was disappointed as well - news editor)
PTP week The district held a week long event to raise awareness for Pediatric Trauma Program! From 10/12 - 10/16, Key Clubbers were able to participate in online activities. > mental health monday > thank you thursday > tiny tuesday > fundraising friday > wholesome wednesday

Park clean up Grossmont Key Club held a cleanup event at Mission Bay Park, where they were able to help maintain a clean and healthy environment for everyone at the beach to enjoy. Everyone who was there was required to wear a face cover or mask and stay at least six feet apart from each other. Not only was it an event to help clean the environment, but they were also able to acquaint and introduce themselves with new members!
> bonus!
Thank you Jeffery Do for sending in the entire commercial transcript of the McDonalds Travis Scott burger for Articles & Visuals! We appreciate your hard work!
