LTG & DNE REGARDS Happy November Peacocks! We have been in school for about 3 months now. Oh man, how time flies! As we all know the holidays are approaching very fast but remember spirit and service should never stop. Keep on serving your community and spread that Key Club spirit whereever you go! Happy Autumn, Division 31! This month is so exciting!

We get to celebrate the funds raised for the Pediatric Trauma program, go on Thanksgiving break, eat lots of delicious food and much more! Since it is the month to giving back, look for service projects in which you can give back to your community. For example, volunteering at a food bank! One challenge that I have for you all, is to give thanks. Let your fellow members, officers, or advisors know that you appreciate their support and hard work! Key Club Week MONDAY: SHOW YOUR K IN EVERY WAY - Spread the word to publicize key club through spirit wear,flyers, etc.

WEDNESDAY: DARE TO CARE Tackle a service project/fundraiser directed towards one of Key Club’s preferred charities (UNICEF, March of Dimes, Children’s Miracle Network)

November 6-10

TUESDAY: KUDOS TO THE KEY PLAYERS Personally thank adults (advisors, parents) and members who have helped key club with cards, goodies, or even a dinner.

THURSDAY: RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS Challenge members to do a small act of kindness throughout the day whether it be sharing a smile, holding the door open, or leaving inspirational messages for other students to see.

FRIDAY: CONNECT WITH THE K’s - Connect with the different branches of Kiwanis for a joint service project For example, local Kiwanians, K-Kids, Builders club, Circle K, and Aktion club)

WHY PARTICIPATE? ❏ Show others that there is way much more to key club then people dressed in bright colors ❏ It’s like a spirit week, just for Key Club ❏ Help celebrate Kiwanis Family Month Page 5

FUNDRAISING 4 FALL RALLY WHAT IS PTP? The Pediatric trauma is the leading cause of death in children 14 and under in the US. With funds raised, the program provides supplies and training needed in order to help the children and their families.

Fall Rally Main Focus: Key Clubbers attend Fall Rally in order to celebrate all the funds that have been raised for the Pediatric Trauma Program.

Ideas for Fundraising: Have a bake sale, pie the officer board, collaborate with local restaurants, have a color war, host a movie night or simply donate money.

Things to Remember: Often times, many members do not realize that we do not attend Fall Rally for the rides, Instagram followers, or to get out of the house. We go there to celebrate one of our largest preferred charities. After all, Key Club is all about service. The best thing about Key Club is that we get to ride rollercoasters and meet new friends while giving back at Fall Rally.
