“On Saturday, August 24, a few different high schools met up at helix to have our Key Club DCM. We first started out by introducing everyone through a name game to make sure we all were familiar with each other. Everyone was excited and intimidated, but all of us rose to the challenge. After we went through our schedule to discuss what different high schools had done in the beginning of the year to jump start Key Club. At the end of the event, we taught the officers several general cheers to get started for the year. The event was lots of fun and we were able to strengthen our bond between high schools.”

The event was a beach clean up located at Mission Beach. After the beach clean up, there was a club bonfire, where members were able to socialize and get to know their board members more. Although not as many members showed up as expected, it was still a great turn out and everyone had lots of fun.”
