Our Final Regards Hi there Peacocks! It’s the last newsletter of the year!! I want to give a huge shoutout to our lovely DNE Veronica Gonzalez for creating such amazing newsletters for us. I also want to thank you all for being so amazing. This term has been wonderful and it’s sad to see it end so soon. Thank you for giving me the honor and opportunity to be your Lt. Governor. I wish everyone the very best! Thank you!!

For this month, we tried something very new and it was nominations! As a division team, we decided that it would be more meaningful if a representative from the clubs nominate a member or advisor. We will be doing this at DCM’s from now and will also be asking the members if they would like to nominate someone!

Club Featured: Grossmont Have you ever wondered what the clubs in D31 are up to! Well..

In January, Grossmont woke up bright and early to volunteer at the Super Run! Members helped with check-in, handing out the runners tags, and of course, making sure the runners stay hydrated!

Officers, if you are interested in seeing the club you serve in the newsletter, just remember to submit your articles and visuals on the 10th of every month before 6PM.

Are you a high school senior and a member of Key Club? Well… You should APPLY FOR ANY OF THE KCF SCHOLARSHIPS!! The Kiwanis Children's Fund Scholarship helps seniors in high school who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service to their school and community, academic ability and is an active member of Key Club.

Officer Training Now that elections have been held, you should be now in the process of training the new officers how to do their job. Here are some things to keep in mind/ some advice when training them.

1. Discuss the basic tasks of your position 2. Discuss expectations of LTG, Faculty advisor and Kiwanis advisor 3. Start making S.M.A.R.T. goals 4. Go over dues process
