Wander through 18th century buildings and Fort Christiansvaern’s original rooms to learn about the history of this significant site. forget, visit the St. George Village Botanical Garden, a 16-acre garden in Frederiksted with historic buildings and ruins from an 18th and 19th century sugar cane plantation. 5 Located right on the water, Frederiksted
is the island’s cruise port and a popular hang out spot, offering a wonderful mix of souvenir shops, art galleries, and eateries. Walk along the town’s boardwalk to enjoy ocean views and relax in the park amongst statues, canons, and historic landmarks.

8 Point Udall is the easternmost point of the

9 There are dozens of historic sugar mills on
the island, many of which were constructed between 1750 and 1800 when St. Croix was one of the richest sugar-producing islands in all of the Caribbean. The Estate Whim Museum & Plantation is one of just a few surviving sugar mills that’s been restored over the years. The area was damaged by past hurricanes, but it’s still a unique site to learn more about the island’s history.
