What did I make happen this year?

This is Deloris Williams, CEO of Divine Connections.

Well, this has been a phenomenal year for me. God continues to grace me with good health, a sound mind, & unconditional love. I could do nothing with out the help of the Lord. He has granted me favor and for that I say thank you. I have continued to inspire myself & others through publications of Divine Connection Magazine, newsletters, & an annual event. I also wrote my first book entitled, “ You Can Do It! Make it Happen & Handle your Business.� He has also blessed with my first niece, Makayla. I am finishing strong & looking forward to see what God has in store for me in 2014. Begin with the end in mind and expect exceedingly abundantly blessings.

In today's world we are inundated with images of Christmas from the media. We are told that it is all about buying expensive gifts for each other. In today's challenging economic times it is a tragedy that parents spend way more than they can afford to try to please their children. The sad truth is that, "money can't buy you love". A holiday is about the time spent together with loved ones. It is about gifts that come from the heart, and it is the about the thousands of years of tradition that mark the holiday season.

Deloris Williams is a jack of many trades. After completing her degree at Winston Salem State University, she started her journey as an entrepreneur and now authors her first book, "You Can Do It! Make It Happen and Handle Your Business". Deloris is a believer that you can accomplish anything if you set your mind to it.

She is Christian who has exercised her faith in the areas of personal development, finance and education.

Deloris speaks to you about being totally independent yet dependent upon God and His unorthodox way of supporting your endeavors. She graduated with honors with a BS in Therapeutic Recreation and now serves clients with disabilities. While doing so, she also manages and operates her own business for a well known magazine company, Divine Connections. Deloris has given us strategies in her new book, of how you can own a home for the first time just by applying wisdom. She has also encouraged students by sharing ways on how they can, like her attend and graduate from college with no loans.

After being diagnosed as being diabetic, having high blood pressure and last as having high RA levels I knew that it was going to be necessary to make some life changing choices as well as make a decision(s) to be a victim of the serious side effects associated with prescribed medications or to pray and trust that God would lead me to what I needed to have the optimal health that I desired. I decided to go with plan B and trust God for direction and that is what I did. I can only tell you that I have not regretted my choice.
