We are Divaks, an EU-based company dedicated to producing insect-based ingredients for the food and pet food industries. Founded in 2020, we are committed to offering highly nutritious, functional, and sustainable protein alternatives from yellow mealworms (Tenebrio molitor).
While introducing these future ingredients to the market, we uphold stringent safety standards - all our ingredients, sourced within the European Union, comply with regulations and have received Novel Food approvals, ensuring their safe inclusion in food products. Our operations are currently spread across Lithuania, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany.

CONSUMER ACCEPTANCE
Insect-based food is no longer just the food of the future - it’s already here. The growing consumer interest in alternative proteins of insect origin has been confirmed by a recent EU survey, indicating significant part of consumer readiness for insect-based foods.
A survey carried out by IPIFF (International Platform of Insect for Food and Feed) asked people from several EU countries their willingness to try food products made with insect ingredients for the first time or again on the scale from 1 to 10:
