D33 LTG Ceana Sierra WCPA
Hey Vampirecats! I’m Annie and I am the Division 33 News Editor for this term! I am sophomore this year. I am beyond excited for what this year has to offer in Key Club and Division Leadership. I absolutely love designing aesthetic things from social media posts, meeting slideshows, and now, newsletters!
I look forward to keeping all the Vampirecats updated. This newsletter is fall themed, so grab a pumpkin spice latte and cozy up for the September edition.
I hope you all enjoy reading this newsletter as much as I did making it! Make sure to tune in for all of the Division’s upcoming events. Harry Potter TC is bound to be a blast, so I hope we can all make it.
D33 DNE Annie Ngo Burroughs
For the in person Hydro-tc, we had around 30 officer attendees and 3 Kiwanis attendees. We raised around $50 dollars in total. For the alternative one, we had around 15 officer attendees. It was a successful event with many posters made and much knowledge learned.
DCM RECAP
Division 33 held our second DCM of the term on August 18. It was an online zoom meeting. Vampirecats from WCPA and BHS joined! Our LTG, Ceana Sierra, went over the Hydrotc and Child Spree. The Division Leadership (DLT) was announced. Each DLT member gave a short intro with fun facts about themselves. We engaged in a little friendly competition with Blooket games.
Victorious Vampirecats
WCPA Club Rush
Club Rush for WCPA was September 11. We had many members helping to parade around with D33 signs, explaining what Key Club is to potential members and organizing chants to show our Key Club spirit. It was an overall great event that allowed us to show everyone why they should join Key Club. In the end, we were left with around 50 sign ups. All in all, it was very successful!
BHS Bake Sale
Burroughs Key Club hosted a bake sale on August 31. It was a sweet success! Members came to help out at the table outside of our local Alberstons. Key Clubbers whipped up yummy desserts, including cookies, unicorn themed cupcakes, brownies, and muffins. We even had refreshing lemonade. Everything was priced by donation. Thanks to the community’s generosity, we raised $330 for future service projects and Fall Rally!
WCPA
Poster-Making Event
Over the course of 3 weeks, Key Clubbers participated in making Club Rush posters. They held meetings every Tuesday and Thursday to make various posters to showcase Key Club and its benefits, spirit, and community. These posters were used to gain attention during Club Rush and draw more people to WCPA Key Club and Division 33!
BHS Pinwheels
BHS Key Club recently put together pinwheels at their meeting on September 10. Materials were provided by the organization they’re making them for, the Oasis Family Resource Center. Members took colorful sheets of paper and carefully folded them onto plastic tubes. By the end of the meeting, 80 pinwheels were stacked up.

Outstanding Officer
Camille Martinez WCPA, Junior Treasurer
I recognize Camille Martinez as Key Club Officer of the Month. Camille has been at every single game to help sell food to raise money for Key Club. Some of these games can last for hours, so the fact that she has been there shows her dedication.
Magnificent Member
I recognize Bella Lily Valenzuela as Key Club Member of the Month. This is because she played a big part in getting new member for Key Club. On top of that, her attitude has been nothing but positive. We could not ask for a better member.
