Introduction

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a UKbased charity that works to put the power of computing and digital making into the hands of people all over the world. This is so that more people are able to harness the power of computing and digital technologies for work, to solve problems that matter to them, and to express themselves creatively. The foundation engage millions of young people in learning computing and digital making skills through a thriving network of clubs and events, and through partnerships with youth organisations. They enable any school to offer students the opportunity to study computing and computer science through providing the best possible curriculum, resources, and training for teachers. The pi-top ecosystem centers around Further, an innovative Computer Science Learning Platform, and includes standards-based lessons, award-winning robotics and engineering hardware, and a made-for-school Raspberry Pibased “brain” for teaching and learning everything from beginning coding to advanced AI concepts. By blending physical computing and project-based learning with Computer Science and STEAM education, educators and students can design, code and make anything they can imagine.
