I would like to welcome you to the UK Pavilion at Hong Kong FinTech Week 2022. The UK Government is proud to support the event. As a leading global financial centre, the UK has long developed groundbreaking technologies within the sector by utilising its robust ecosystem and international talent pool across the whole country. The foundation of our success lies in the strength of our financial services sector – as an originator and buyer of FinTech – combined with a vibrant market for cutting-edge products and services and a regulatory environment that leads the world in the support it provides for innovation. On a broader level, we are confident about the UK FinTech sector’s contribution to pursuing the “FinTech 2025” Strategy published by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
