Sports Equipment bonus for students The Minister for Education and Training, Verity Firth has announced that every government school in NSW will receive a grant to buy sporting equipment under the Premier’s Sporting Challenge. GP High School will receive $5,587.79, GP Public School $5,291.24, Regentville Public School $4,974.92 and Surveyors Creek Public School will receive $3,933.70. “This program supports all schools in helping their students achieve active and healthy lifestyles.” said Ms Firth. This year’s $7.5 million allocation averages nearly $3,300 per school. The kits include gym, field and court equipment for sports.
