Exciting Times Ahead For Emu Hall
A development application has been lodged for Emu Hall in Emu Plains by local company Stimson and Baker Planning. The proposal is to convert the existing house into a restaurant and to construct additional buildings on the site to provide for a central kitchen and a function centre to accommodate approximately 260 people. An upgrade to the gardens around the buildings is also planned for Emu Hall. Stimson and Baker Planning are hoping to get approval for the project very early next year. From there, they anticipate that the redeveloped Emu Hall would be operating in the final quarter of 2017.

For those walking around the Nepean River, the redevelopment of the site will create a great visual presence on the River for all to enjoy. “Emu Plains is characterized mainly by larger residential lots and as such, is not open to many development opportunities.
