At the heart of RESTORE is a commitment to seeing lives transformed through discipleship, community, prayer, and generosity as we prepare our future church home just one block away on 16th Street.
In this quarterly report, you'll find stories of God's faithfulness through specifically our Discipleship Ministry. Each milestone represents people taking meaningful next steps in their faith as we continue our mission to make disciples who love, think, and act like Jesus.
You'll also meet CIVIL Creative, the interior design team helping shape the vision for our future home.

RESTORE God’s People
Life Groups
Life Groups continue to be a vital place for discipleship and connection, with 585 people participating across 58 groups this last spring.
We are also encouraged by the growing impact of our Silent Prayer Retreats, where 231 individuals, many of them Life Group leaders, have stepped away to seek God since 2024, and nearly one-third have returned for multiple retreats as they cultivate deeper rhythms of prayer and spiritual renewal.
EasterSunday
Almost 1,500 people gathered
to celebrate the hope of the risen Christ, with 61 individuals placing their faith in Jesus and 18 taking the step of baptism. We praise God for transformed lives and the 60+ people already pursuing baptism as their next step of faith
GROWING IN COMMUNITY & PRAYER
NoVa
Northern Virginia continues to be a thriving and growing community, where members are experiencing God’s provision through new jobs, growing families, answered prayers, and deeper connection with one another This spring, the NoVA community has gathered around Unshakable Faith and served local partners through outreach opportunities, like Casa Chirilagua and Comunidad
District Kids
This spring, we celebrated 10 baby dedications and continued to see growth in District Kids. We expanded the preschool classes to three classrooms to accommodate the growth. We are grateful to God for this increase and for the many volunteers who faithfully invest in discipling and caring for our children each week
Rooted
This year, 95 people have journeyed through Rooted, taking intentional steps to deepen their relationship with God, connect in authentic community and live out their faith with greater purpose. We celebrate the lives being transformed as people discover what it means to follow Jesus and find their place in God’s story.

PREPARING A PERMANENT HOME FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
has joined the RESTORE team as our interior design partner. Their work is helping us honor the historic character of National while creating welcoming, accessible, and flexible spaces that can serve worship, discipleship, community gatherings, and outreach for generations to come Below are the latest interior renderings.
A fully-restored sanctuary that honors the historic beauty and architecture of the room while creating a more accessible, flexible, and visually-engaging worship environment
The updated sanctuary design preserves the warmth and uniqueness of the historic space while improving sightlines, providing accessibility to all areas, improving traffic flow, and allowing the space to be multifunctional for the hosting of a diverse range of events.
The rear sanctuary has been redesigned as a flexible gathering space, blending historic finishes with updated lighting and flexibility Shown with seated rounds, this can be converted to seated rows for additional sanctuary capacity

The entire building has been redesigned with accessibility in mind. Two new elevators have been added, and multiple floor elevations have been eliminated to ensure all persons can easily navigate the space
