The Stroud Chamber showed their first “Movie in the Park” Saturday Night. It was a perfect night, well attended, plenty of good food, nd everyone had a great time. Stay tuned for the next one.

Stroud’s July 4th celebration is always great fun. This year there will be lots of things to do all day at Foster Park sponsored by the Chamber and Fire Department. Look for upcoming details. As always, the Fire Department will put on a great fireworks display. Fireworks display are sponsored by Stroud Chamber, GRDA, and City of Stroud.
Sac & Fox Nation ‘s 58th Pow Wow will be held July 6-9. This event will feature dancing, singers, drummers, and a rodeo. Visitors can shop at ar ts and craf ts vendors and eat delicious foods. There are also campgrounds available.
The Chamber is again sponsoring the 2023 Mid-Summer Madness 5K Run and 1 mile walk on July 8th. The race begins at the Route 66 Coliseum. Packet pickup begins at 6:30 and race begins at 7:30. You can register at their Facebook page.
There’s always something good going on in Stroud. Make plans now to be a par t of the fun. Finally, let ’s not forget all the fathers in our communit y. Happy Father ’s Day.
