Welcome to Stroud!
Good things continue to happen in Stroud! Tourism season is here, and we are already seeing an increase in travelers on Route 66. I want to give a great big thank you to Jerred Eversole and staff for putting together an awesome advertisement and tourism website for the city of Stroud. If you are familiar with the Route 66 Passport the newest one just came out. The inside front cover has our ad on it and a QR code that takes you to our site. Only 3 towns were allowed in the passport. We are the smallest one represented but have the most impressive ad of the 3. Great job Guys!
Clean-up week is in the books. Thanks to everyone who participated and to our staff who worked extra hard to have the town picked up before Easter weekend. The Midpoint Corridor is a group that reaches from Edmond to Sapulpa. Stroud is a part of that group. This portion of Route 66 is considered the best 100 miles of Route 66. We have scheduled a cleanup day May 4th between Stroud and Davenport. Volunteers from other areas have agreed to help us pick up trash along this strip of our highway. I ask you to please plan to join us in taking pride in how our area looks. See you May 4th.
If you’re out and about drive through the park and look at the new addition to our pool. Thank you to our city staff for the installation. Thanks to Sheana and Marsha for your vision and all you do for Stroud! What a GREAT town!
STROUD PROUD!
