Here in Pawnee, America we think January is a very exciting month! Anticipating new ideas, events and always a fresh start for our citizens, organizations, schools, retail merchants, and a chance to add lots of wonderful events in 2022. March 12 will bring approximately 3,000 bicycle racers through our town to compete in the annual Mid- South Gravel Race. This is 100 miles of dirt and back roads starting and ending in Stillwater making a 100- mile circle that includes downtown Pawnee! Entertainment and refreshments await the riders and their support staff. Come watch the riders via live streaming on a large screen downtown. March 26 is the opening day of the traveling Smithsonian Crossroads, “Museum on Main Street” exhibit at the Pawnee Bill Ranch. This is a free event and perfect for a weekend day trip. Our merchants are restocking with new merchandise and our restaurants are always ready to serve great steaks, hamburgers, pizza or coffee & baked goods.
