Welcome to Stroud!
Greetings Citizens of Stroud,
The Route 66 Passport was released last Saturday with a celebration in the Meadow Gold District in Tulsa. The City of Stroud is proud to have the opportunity to once again be the sponsor of the passport. The red and silver color really highlights the Route 66 shield and is very eye catching. On the second page is the Stroud Mural and plan your getaway invitation for all the things Stroud has to offer. Thanks again to Deep Fork Productions for helping us with this page. Check it out if you get the chance.
A lot of people have questioned the status of the pond at Foster Park and restocking of fish. The Oklahoma Department of wildlife has a program called Fishing Close to Home for children and anglers alike. They will assess the pond and stock it with fish of different sizes to make fishing immediate and best for long term management of the pond. We are working together with them to make this happen. Thanks for your patience as we work through it.
I know you must have noticed the new signs around town. We have 6 new signs and about 15 or so in various stages of production that could possibly go up this week. They look amazing and can hardly wait for the next ones to come.
There are a lot of good things going on in town. It’s a great time to be from Stroud!
