Greetings Citizens of Stroud,
I want to give a big shout out to Erin Bradley and her Chamber of Commerce Board for another outstanding banquet. Thank you to the JR. Chamber for your service and help in making it a success. The food was excellent as always, thank you 5-Star for that. Congratulations to this year’s winners! 5-Star was picked as Business of the year, Darrel Kee as Citizen of the year, and Debbie Garret received Lifetime Achievement Award. We are extremely proud of all our winners! From all of us thank you for what you do!
The first two neon signs are up and about 10 more are close to completion so things are going to start to look different on Main Street.
We have a new playground and equestrian trails underway at the lake and the guys are working to finish up dirt work at Foster Park. We are still waiting to hear the outcome of our grant for Foster Park. Springtime sports are in full swing so keep that in mind when traveling in the park. There are a lot of good things going on in town. It’s a great time to be from Stroud!!
