Junior High Mentors Junior High Mentors are 8th grade students who applied, and were accepted, to work within an Adapted Physical Education class for the Junior High Mentors are 8th grade students who applied, and were accepted, to work within an Adapted Physical Education class for the MILE students. They are responsible for being positive peer role models and mentors in a physical education setting. The group of students are given training in such things as disability awareness and instructional techniques for working with people with disabilities over the course of a semester the MILE students.
