Students Answer the Call to Assist in Community Garden Thanks to a group of Richer School grade 8 students who answered the call and came out with an EA to gather another 80-90lbs of fresh veggies out of the Richer Friendship Community Garden that are heading to the Ste Anne Food Bank. They also stripped some of the beds and laid out the stalks to make ready for composting. These kids were friendly, respectful and enthusiastic!! “Just want to thank the students who came out to community garden to help with fall clean up,” said Debbie Sweet, community garden volunteer committee chair.
Grade 8 students from Richer School gather the remaining vegetables from the community garden that will head to Ste Anne Food Bank.
