Halloween Parties in Richer
The two annual Halloween events were held again in Richer on October 27th at the Richer Young at Hearts Club. Families came out in the afternoon to kid’s party which included free entry, games, coloring activities at each table, music, costume judging, treat bags and a canteen. The event was hosted by the Richer Community Club with volunteers leading the activities. The evening social started at 9 pm and was hosted by the Richer Fire Department and Richer Community Club which also included costume judging. This year, $543 was raised at the social and all will be donated to the Ste. Anne Hospital Fund in support of the helipad construction project. Thank you to everyone who donated candy, the local businesses Burnells Food Plus, Richer
Husky, Lagimodiere Restaurant, Ti-Beauville Restaurant, and Timberline Restaurant who donated prizes for the social, One One Consultants for printing the posters, the volunteers who worked a shift or just jumped in to help out when needed for decorating, kids games, costume judging, hauling over supplies, or cleaning up. We wouldn’t be able to put on these events without all the help and support. A variety of pictures from the children’s event held during the day (above) to the Halloween Social for adults (left).
