Richer Crib Club met on April 1st, with a great turnout of 8 full tables! Our winners of the evening were Jeff Whitebread in first place, Denise Dyck in second and a tie for third between Paul Laurin and Judy Burnell. Mimi Smith took the dimes for fourth, and Gerry Sabot got the Booby prize. Two 50/50 draws went to Eileen Donovan and Yvonne Desaulniers.
Our last bi-weekly tournament of the 24/25 season was on Tuesday, April 15th. We had a great supper of chicken, pizza, salads and desserts before starting the tournament with another record 8 full tables playing. Our winners of the evening were: in first place David
Scrapneck, 2nd place Helene Sabot, 3rd place Frank Dawson, and 4th place taking the dimes Yvonne Desaulniers. Dan Ross took the booby prize and Gerry Sabot and Toni Marks won the two 50/50 draws.
Congratulations to all our winners! For the summer, we will be meeting only once per month from May through August, on the second Tuesday of each month. Regular bi-weekly tournaments will start again in September.

Dawson Trail Museum
The Dawson Trail Museum is hosting their Annual Spring Tea on Saturday, May 10 from 11 am to 4 pm. There will be two seatings, one from 11 am to 1 pm, and second seating from 2 pm to 4 pm. The museum committee will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 13th at 7 pm at the museum.Everyone is welcome.
Richer Community Club & Richer Recreation Committee meetings... Wednesday, May 14, 7:30 pm at the Richer Young at Hearts Hall.
Spring Active 55+
From 6:30 pm to 8 pm in the gynasium at the Richer School. Pickleball, bean bag toss and ladderball. Also yoga and strength training! Free! We will be moving this program to the Dawson Trail Park in June.
Dinner and Dance...
Richer Young At Hearts Easter dinner and dance on Saturday, May 17 with music by Gemstars. Doors open at 4:30 pm, Dinner is at 6 pm and dancing until 11 pm. Tickets are $30 per person. For reservations call Ron at 431-2750874.
Dawson Trail Museum

First Annual Dawson Trek
Cycle the Dawson ; Feel the History... First annual cycling fundraiser. A trek along the historic Dawson Trail from Winnipeg to East of Richer on July 19.You may contact Kyle and Rebecca Waczko at KWACZKO@MAIL.COM or at 204-510-4968 for more information. Donations can be made to Dawson Trail Museum c/o Dawson Trek museedawsontrail.com. Donations of $20.00 or greater will receive an official tax receipt. Proceeds go to the maintenance of the trail markers.
Teepee Volunteer Crew Looking for Help
One of the teepees is up for the first event this year in the Dawson Trail Park. Kyle and Rebecca are looking for some extra help to erect the teepees and take them down between events.
