Richer Welcomes Christmas Celebration In the past, Richer and the area was never short on Christmas Spirit and this year things are only getting more festive. Not one, but two sales took place in the community, with a new one at the Dawson Trail Museum adding to the annual sale hosted by Sue at the Young at Hearts Club. Christmas lights are up on the main streets of Richer thanks to the LUD committee and they have received prize support from even more local businesses this year for their 3rd Annual Festive Lighting Contest! Just 2 km north of Richer on PR 302, April and Ken Boer open up their yard to visitors to view their vast light display. Every year the display grows. They accept donations for a pet rescue.
