Mutton Busting Draw!
NEW COMPETITOR DRAW FORMAT
With 20 children maximum per day allowed into the competition, a draw will take place at 12 noon to choose the 20 participants from the pre-registrations for each day.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to listen and step forward with the child if their name is called. If the parent/guardian and child does not come forward organizers reserve the right to draw again.
An official weigh in will take place to ensure eligibility of children who are chosen to compete. Children must weigh in with their footwear. For any child deemed ineligible, a draw will continue to determine a replacement child.
You will be required to sign a waiver in-person on-site if your child is chosen to compete.
For children who are not chosen during the Saturday draw, a parent/guardian may also fill out the online pre-registration form for the Sunday event. Children who are chosen to compete on Saturday are ineligible to compete on Sunday.
A buckle will be awarded daily to the Mutton Busting winner. Additionally, all competitors chosen will receive a small gift bag.
Important times to remember:
1. For participation in the Saturday, August 8 Mutton Busting Competition, the deadline for the registration draw is 11:59 pm on August 7.
2. For participation in the Sunday, August 9 Mutton Busting Competition, the deadline for the registration draw is 11:59 pm on August 8.
3. Registration draws will take place at 12 noon each day outside the Rodeo General Store. To ensure your child is included in the draw, the parent/guardian and the child must be present. No in-person registration is available, please fill out form online before deadlines.
