WHAT IS ULTIMATE FRISBEE GAME?

Considered as a mix of basketball, football, and rugby- Ultimate Frisbee is a perfect fun and fast game that is played played with a quality USAU approved disc. Today, the game is played on the grass, field, and beach. The objective is to score points by receiving the disc in end zones by passing it amongst your team.

If the disc touches the ground or is intercepted, possession switches to the other team, who then has an opportunity to score by passing the disc into their end zone.

WHERE WAS THE GAME OF ULTIMATE FRISBEE INVENTED? Ultimate Frisbee was developed in 1968 by a group of students at Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey (USA). Although this game resembles many traditional sports in its athletic requirements, it is unique in many other ways.

ON WHAT GUIDING PRINCIPLE IS THE GAME OF ULTIMATE FRISBEE PLAYED? Ultimate Frisbee is always played with teams of seven players on the field each, with substitutes on the sidelines. Today, this game relies upon a Spirit of the Game that places the responsibility for fair gameplay on the players. Players on the field make the necessary changes when violations occur, as there are no referees in-game. If there is a disagreement regarding any foul or violation, the disc returns to the player who made the last pass, and the game resumes.
