Cradled in sprawling sugary sand surrounded by towering coconut trees, Vanilla Beach is popular for its cerulean waters, sultry sunsets, and buzzing energy. The 5-ha shorefront property in the cusp of barangay Corong Corong is a slice of paradise for those hankering for both stillness and adventure.

What sets Vanilla Beach apart from other Palawan holiday destinations is that it is the first and only strip mall in El Nido, Palawan. Dotted with household retail shops, ingenious gastronomic concepts, and even a fitness center, Vanilla Beach continuously flourishes while staying environmentally-sustainable and a tourist friendly haven that features upscale amenities alongside nature’s wonders.
SOMETHING’S BREWING
The latest attraction at Vanilla Beach is a flip-flop tequila bar called Blue Iguana that serves local beers, a lineup of frozen concoctions, cocktails, mojitos, and margaritas served by the glass or by the pitcher, and even a special Mexican beer cocktail. Take in the bar’s vacation vibe while you and your friends enjoy a slushy tequila drink or an ice-cold Mexican Cerveza.
FROLIC AT THE “NEW TOWN”
After a day of water sports, the Shoppes at Vanilla Beach invites you to unwind at the first-of-its-kind lifestyle hub where you can shop for souvenirs at Cabanna Living. Get something to remind yourself of your time in the island, or to gift someone you would like to take back with you. After window-shopping, get your coffee fix and grab your favorite McDonald’s meal, then head to the beach to catch the setting sun. Cap off your day with an intense workout session at CrossFit Hieroglyph – truly a meditation in motion.

HIP HOSPITALITY BRAND
Forthcoming vacationers are in for a fresh and trendy treat as Kip&Kin, a contemporary hospitality concept, is set to open at Vanilla Beach in 2021. The vibrant accommodation will cater to visitors of all ages. The basement will be the hostel area with 84 bunk beds across 12 colorful rooms, made with the millennials and weekend warriors in mind. Families and guests who prefer a more conventional hotel arrangement will occupy the top floors which will have a total of 117 rooms.
A trip to El Nido is what everyone needs after these long months of being travel deprived. Once this happens, don’t forget to visit the sunny sanctuary that is Vanilla Beach.
