HOT TAKE: The cooler months are Port Macquarie's best kept secret. The crowds thin out, the whales arrive, the cellar doors get cosy, and you can actually get a table at your favourite restaurant without planning too far ahead.

This issue is packed with reasons to get out and make the most of it, starting with some exciting news: our world-famous Koala Hospital is reopening this August, rebuilt and better than ever, and the Wild Koala Breeding Program at Guulabaa is welcoming their second round of new joeys, giving real hope for the future of the species. I may have cried a little. In a good way.

And big news for our friends and wildlife conservation warriors at Billabong Zoo recently - winning the hotly contested ‘Best Visitor Experience in NSW’ award. Kudos to this amazing local family who work tirelessly to make this popular wildlife park so successful.

The rest? Whales, (SO many whales), wineries, walks and day trips that'll have your travel companions thinking you're a genius. All in here.

As always, go forth and frolic!

SOUTHERN BEACHES THE CAMDEN HAVEN

Coastal Walk between Town & Oxley Beaches
(feat. Flagstaff Hill Lookout)
by Michael Wilkie

PORT MACQUARIE

Port Macquarie is all about sun, sea and seriously good vibes. Sitting pretty between the mighty Hastings River and the magnificent Pacific Ocean, this buzzing township is perfectly positioned and very walkable. From fish and chips by the beach to cocktails with a view, the food and bar scene is genuinely topnotch. And with festivals, events and something new opening seemingly every five minutes, there's always a reason to come back.

CBD SHOPPING & DINING PRECINCT

The striking glass facade of the Glasshouse is hard to miss, and worth heading towards: it's Port's cultural hub, home to the Regional Gallery, Visitor Information Centre, event spaces and a high-spec theatre. Just across the cafe-lined forecourt you'll find Port Central Shopping Centre. Clarence, Horton, Short, Murray and Hay Streets are lined with boutiques, galleries, cafes and all the essentials. Parking is free but timed, with a multilevel carpark next to Port Central off Murray Street, and free parking on Short Street near Town Wharf.

COASTAL WALK

Nine glorious kilometres of seaside trail from Westport Park to Tacking Point Lighthouse, taking in secret coves, headland lookouts and some of Port's best swimming spots. Tackle it all at once or pick a section and wander. Little Shack at the Breakwall and Salty Crew Kiosk at Town Beach are perfect refuelling stops along the way. See our handy Coastal Walk map on page 57.

TOWN GREEN & LADY NELSON WHARF

The beating heart of the town, in a divine waterfront setting overlooking the Hastings River. Think picnics and parties, coffee and cocktails, promenades and playgrounds. You'll find happy fishos trying their luck off the wharf and giggling kiddos attempting to ride bikes with ice creams in hand. Flanked by eateries and bars, the sunsets here are absolutely sublime.

BREAKWALL, SKATE PARK & TOWN BEACH RESERVE

Walk the iconic breakwall, hit up one of the best skate parks on the coast, or settle in at Town Beach with its patrolled shores and lush parklands. And there are plenty of snack stops nearby when you need them! Town Beach Reserve playground (with its mini pump track for junior riders) will keep the kids busy while you finish your coffee in peace.

TOWN BEACH & OXLEY BEACH

A few minutes' walk from the CBD and you're here. This gorgeous golden crescent is patrolled, with great facilities and a fab kiosk. Popular with families, surfers, surf schools and sun worshippers alike. Follow the Coastal Walk over the southern headland and you'll drop down to Oxley Beach, which is pup-friendly (leashed) and brilliant for picnics.

TOWN WHARF

REGION Port Macquarie

GAOL POINT & THE OBSERVATORY

Once a 19th-century lock-up, now one of the best lookouts in town. Spot whales, check the surf, or wander the lovely Mrs York's Gardens. Right across the road, the Port Macquarie Observatory's Astronomy & Science Centre is genuinely impressive: a multi-million dollar facility with state-of-the-art telescopes, a sixmetre dome and Night Sky presentations on Friday, Sunday and Wednesday evenings. Well worth booking.

WESTPORT PARK & THE MARINA

A few minutes' walk or drive from the CBD, Westport Park hosts regular events and has a fabulous all-abilities playground with water play. Boaties use the upgraded boat ramp to access the Hastings River. Nearby, the Marina's nautical decks host a range of eateries and a day spa, and Hastings Coffee Co (The Westport Club) has a handy coffee window for a quality flat white before you head out on the water. Continue west for a couple of kilometres, past the shopping centre, to Settlement Point: swimming, kayaking and picnic spots on the banks of the Hastings. Hire SUPs, kayaks and gear from the Settlement Point Boatshed or Jordan's Boating Centre. Or, take the car ferry to the North Shore if you're after off-the-grid adventure.

Wander down here with a gelato and watch the world go by. It's the departure point for Port Jet Cruises' whale watching tours and river cruises, and a lovely spot for boat and dolphin watching. Bonus: Florence Jones Cheese & Wine and Mekong Thai Lao both overlook the wharf with waterside views, which makes this one of the better corners of town for a long, lazy lunch or sunset sips.

TACKING POINT

LIGHTHOUSE & SEA ACRES RAINFOREST CENTRE

Ten minutes from town along Pacific Drive, with epic coastal views the whole way. Your destination: the heritage-listed Tacking Point Lighthouse, lighting the way since 1879, and one of the best whale-watching spots in the region. A brand new all-abilities ramp and lookout means everyone can enjoy the view. On the way, detour into Sea Acres Rainforest Centre and wander the 1.3km elevated boardwalk through one of Australia's largest remaining coastal rainforests. Ancient trees, birdsong, Aboriginal cultural tours, and the Rainforest Café waiting for you at the end.

JUST OUT OF TOWN

Some of the region's best stuff can be found within a 5-15-minute drive of Port Macquarie!

LAKE ROAD INDUSTRIAL ESTATE (YES, REALLY!)

Industrial Estates aren’t usually on visitors’ radars, but ours has more than its fair share of hidden gems (just off Lake Rd). There's Hello Koalas Gallery & Gift Shop, Lunico Candle Co and The Seed Art School for a creative fix. Then there’s a bunch of indoor fun with X-Golf leading the charge (along with indoor rock climbing, roller-blading, trampolining, and play centres). There’s Moorebeer Brewing Co., Black Duck Brewery and Port Macquarie Distillery for locally brewed and distilled goodness. Other notable mentions include The Other Chef (incredible condiments, sauces, preserves and foodie gifts made onsite), Group Therapy Cafe (brings coffee fans from near and far), Barcino Bread (delish sourdough), Holy Goat Coffee and Peak Coffee Roasters. Told you!

THE NORTH SHORE

At Settlement Point (5 mins west of the CBD), take the car ferry to the North Shore if you're after off-road fishing and surfing adventures. North Beach is long and open with 4WD access, but our pick is the raw, wild beauty of Queens Head Beach in Limeburners Creek National Park. Got a reliable 4WD? Take the bumpy, sandy track north to Point Plomer and Crescent Head. Note: there are no shops on the North Shore, just a few houses, so BYO everything!

SANCROX & THRUMSTER

Head west up the Oxley Highway towards the M1 and you'll reach Sovereign Hills first, with a shopping and dining precinct. Keep going west, through the big roundabout and you’ll get to Billabong Zoo (see pages 10 and 19). A little further up the highway is Guulabaa-Place of Koala, the Wild Koala Visitor Centre, and Wildnets Treetops adventures (see page 26).

FERNBANK CREEK, BLACKMANS POINT & TELEGRAPH POINT

Ten minutes north of Port Mac along Hastings River Drive, turn left onto Winery Drive and you'll find Cassegrain Wines at Fernbank Creek. It’s a beautiful property, with a Cellar Door, restaurant and a horse riding centre on site. Or turn right instead and head up to Blackmans Point for Ricardoes Tomatoes & Strawberries: free entry from 7am, seven days, with pick-your-own strawberries on vertical frames that even the tiniest visitors can reach, free guided farm tours at 11am on weekdays, and Cafe Red serving up farm-fresh breakfasts and those world-famous scones. It's wholesome, hands-on and genuinely fun for all ages. See page 5.

Back on the highway and a few more minutes north to Telegraph Point, home of Stoney Park's massive Aqua Park, the Southern Hemisphere's biggest inflatable water playground. There's Aqua Golf next door, BBQ facilities, a kiosk, and you can even stay on site. Open from the October School holidays through to Easter holidays (on weekends and every day in school holidays). Book ahead at stoneypark.com.au.

REGION The Camden Haven

DAY TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

See next page

THE CAMDEN HAVEN

This is old-school coastal Australia, the version you half-thought didn't exist anymore. Shoes optional. No one's in a rush. The fish and chips come straight from the co-op, the oysters come straight from the farmer, and the coffee is actually good. This is a region that doesn’t need to sell itself, and it's all the better for it. It’s a haven for fishing, surfing, swimming and hiking. Wrapped in National Park, with beaches galore and miles of the mighty Camden Haven River. Home to a number of well-equipped waterside holiday parks, campgrounds and holiday homes, the Camden Haven has loyal holiday makers returning year after year. The villages each have their own personality.

North Haven is breezy and dotted with cafes that have river and ocean outlooks. Laurieton is the largest township in the Camden Haven, and has a main street with shopping, eateries and an art deco cinema that looks like a vintage postcard come to life. If timing aligns, don’t miss the vibrant Laurieton Riverside Markets, on every third Sunday of the month.

Dunbogan is sleepy and gorgeous, with a heritage boatshed that might be the world's most relaxing place to have a cuppa (before or after you hire a boat and explore the river, swim at Pilots Beach, or walk nearby Perpendicular Point).

Connecting these three villages is the Beach to Beach Shared Pathway, which starts at the North Haven Breakwall and winds its way beside the river and across a couple of bridges, for 6 km around to Dunbogan. Take your bike, pack the scooters, or put the walking shoes on, and go. On warmer days, BYO swimmers. North Haven has netted off river sections for a peaceful dip, or head to North Haven Beach. At the Dunbogan-end, there’s Pilots and Washhouse Beaches.

HOTELKEW

Overhead, North Brother Mountain (Dooragan National Park) keeps watch, its lookout delivering one of the best coastal panoramas on the East Coast. A little further south, Crowdy Bay National Park's Diamond Head is wild and raw, with the Diamond Head Loop Walk delivering epic views of unique rock formations, and kangaroos treating the campground like a shared Airbnb. A ten-minute drive west of Laurieton takes you to Kew, where the beautifully restored Royal Hotel has pride of place. A little further along is Kendall, known as The Poet's Village, and if it sounds charming, it is!

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

We acknowledge the Birpai people, the traditional owners of the land where we work and live, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who choose to call this region home.

DISCOVER PORT MACQUARIE’S RICH HISTORY & CULTURE

Port Macquarie has a fascinating history. The Birpai people have called this place home for over 40,000 years, living in tune with the land. John Oxley charted the area in 1818, and one of Australia's earliest penal colonies was established here in 1821. Today, Port Macquarie is a welcoming and inclusive coastal town that honours both its Birpai roots and colonial past. From historic sites to Birpai-guided tours, there's much to explore.

BEHIND THE SCENES AT BILLABONG ZOO

THE WILDLIFE ADVENTURE EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT

Just off the highway near Port Macquarie sits one of regional NSW's most awarded attractions, and it's easy to see why. Billabong Zoo Koala & Wildlife Park isn't your average zoo. It's a relaxed, shady, 10-acre wildlife adventure with more than 200 species, unforgettable encounters, conservation programs, and some genuinely jaw-dropping moments. One minute you're hand-feeding kangaroos. The next, you're face-to-face with a giant crocodile launching from the water like a prehistoric missile. There's snow leopards, cheetahs, lions, red pandas, meerkats, little penguins, spider monkeys and adorable otters that are rapidly becoming the zoos newest superstars. And yes, there are koalas (this is Port Macquarie, after all). Billabong Zoo has been a world-renowned koala breeding centre for over 20 years.

But before you do anything else... you need to meet Shrek.

Meet Shrek.

GET CLOSER THAN YOU THOUGHT POSSIBLE

Billabong's animal encounters go way beyond standard zoo fare. We're talking patting a koala, feeding a cheetah, meeting meerkats up close, holding a snake, or having a cheeky little monkey perch on your shoulder. The kind of stuff kids remember forever, and grown-ups secretly lose their minds over.

A BIG YES FOR FAMILIES

Billabong Zoo manages to feel both exciting and easy. Level, shady pathways, plenty of space to wander, and daily keeper talks keep things moving without feeling rushed. Little wildlife lovers can join Bubs & Cubs sessions, while older kids can step into the boots of a real keeper through the Junior and Teen Zookeeper programs during school holidays. There's also a fab playground, and a café serving delish food while spider monkeys swing past the windows. Bonus for road trippers: the café and gift shop are open to everyone, no zoo admission needed.

MORE THAN JUST A ZOO

Behind the fun there's a serious conservation mission. Billabong supports organisations including Cheetah Outreach, Snow Leopard Trust, Red Panda Network, Aussie Ark and the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital. So while you're busy taking selfies with meerkats, your visit is also helping wildlife conservation here and around the world.

Open daily 9am-5pm (except Christmas Day). Book tickets and animal encounters at billabongzoo.com.au

At 4.6 metres long and close to 400 kilograms, Shrek the saltwater crocodile isn’t just big. He’s absolutely enormous. Viewed through the zoo’s huge underwater window, every scale, scar and prehistoric feature feels startlingly close as the giant reptile glides silently beneath the surface. Then feeding time arrives… and the entire crowd takes a collective breath. Every day at 12:30pm, visitors gather for Shrek’s famous croc feed as the massive predator launches from the water with explosive power. It’s become one of Port Macquarie’s must-see wildlife experiences. And this celebrity croc literally flew first class to get here. After years of planning, Shrek made the journey from Darwin to Port Macquarie in 2012 aboard the only aircraft large enough to transport him safely. “There was a running joke that the turbulence was Shrek because his in-flight meal was late,” laughed zoo owner Mark Stone. A decade later there were more anxious moments for the Billabong team (and his legions of fans), when Shrek underwent lifesaving surgery for a serious tail infection. Coordinating specialist surgeons and safely anaesthetising a 400 kilo croc? Not easy. Happily, it went well, and today, he’s fully recovered and still wowing thousands of visitors every year.

Catch Shrek’s jaw-dropping daily feed at 12:30pm, when the giant croc launches from the water during one of the zoo’s most popular keeper talks.

BEACHY BLISS

A brief rundown of our fav swimming, surfing, boating and camel riding spots! With miles of pristine coastline and waterways, there’s room for everyone to spread out and do their thing.

SURFING & BODYBOARDING

Whether you shred or just like posing with a board for Instagram, Port Macquarie’s beaches have you covered. Town Beach & Flynns Beach are centrally located and you can usually hire a board, book a surf lesson, and grab a cuppa. North Lighthouse and North Shelly Beaches? Great for the more experienced surfers (and Lighthouse’s protected corner even works during a nor’easter). And if you’re into the kind of waves that can launch you into next week, Rainbow Beach will happily oblige in the right conditions. Its consistency makes it a favourite for when the Australian Surfing Championships come to town.

BEACHES: FOR CHILLING, SWIMMING, & SPLASHING

Families love Flynns Beach and Town Beach - both are patrolled with cafes and facilities nearby (essential). Shelly Beach has a lagoon area directly in front of the parking area, providing calmer waters, and you can BBQ or picnic in the shaded grassy areas - just don’t feed the giant monitor lizards who like to bask in the sun nearby! Lighthouse Beach is often patrolled at the northern end with a small playground and fab cafe at the Surf Club, with the southern end offering camel rides (strange but true). Meanwhile, Lake Cathie is a dream for anyone who wants to float, kayak, or watch their kids burn off energy… or head a little further south to Pilot Beach at Dunbogan for calmer waters protected by a breawall in an idyllic setting.

FISHING & BOATING:

DON’T LET THE BIG ONE GET AWAY

The Hastings River is prime fishing territory, whether you’re casting a line for bream and flathead or just here for the vibes. For a weekly local fishing report, follow Ned Kelly's Bait n Tackle on Facebook. For deep-sea action, book a tour with Port Macquarie Fishing Charters. No gear? No worries—hire a boat (did someone say ‘BBQ boat’?), a kayak, or a Stand-Up Paddleboard. Or, head south to the Camden Haven, and you’ll find a fishing paradise! The Camden Haven River is serene and expansive, with miles of estuaries to catch a bite (and you’ll likely have your patch all to yourself).

INSIDER TIP: Even in cooler months, our water temperatures are relatively mild. Any sunny day is a good beach day! Just stick to patrolled beaches and swim between the flags.

*Patrolled by Australian Lifeguards year-round at Town Beach only. Refer to the table above for other patrolled beaches, serviced in School Holidays only (excluding Winter). At other times volunteer life savers are on duty only when the red and yellow flags are displayed. For more information on beach safety please go to www.beachsafe.org.au

Every year between May and November, more than 30,000 humpback whales cruise past Port Macquarie on their epic migration between Antarctica and the warm waters of the north. It’s one of the world’s great conservation success stories, with numbers rebounding and continuing to grow since commercial whaling was banned. With primo viewing spots like Tacking Point Lighthouse, Perpendicular Point and Harry's Lookout, you won’t have to look hard to spot spouts, breaches and tail slaps. THE STUNNED MULLET

Bougie Beach Vibes with a Side of Toothfish

This destination-worthy fine diner has accolades for days - Chef's hats, TripAdvisor love, Wine List of the Year nods and more. It's got that slow-down, sip-up, soak-it-all-in vibe. So go. Dress up a little (or don't), order something adventurous and let the flavour take over.

Sitting opposite Town Beach, this place is what happens when worldclass cuisine hooks up with relaxed beachside vibes. It’s got that casualluxe, minimalist Scandi-style-meetsnatural-timber aesthetic with comfy

banquette seating. Divine. Bonus: the acoustics are actually good, so you don’t have to yell over your wine to be heard. We love a chic, considerate interior!

Now, let’s talk food. You’re not coming here for “just a nice meal.” You’re coming for the Glacier 51 toothfish (yes, it’s a thing, and yes, it’s life- changing) with shiitake suimono, black rice, and a dainty enoki crisp that’s basically edible couture. You're coming for the crispy vermicelliwrapped king prawn and pork bisque,

or the sublimely dressed oyster flight. Oh and the pecan torte with chocolate glaze, caramel and buttered popcorn ice cream. Just order it and thank us later.

Then there’s the wine. Sweet baby grapevine, the wine list is ahhhmazing! Whether you know your Syrah from your shiraz or you’re just here for the bubbles, the team will make you feel like you belong. No wine snobbery here, just passionate, knowledgeable people who genuinely love their food and wine, and want you to love it too.

PORT MAC BY MOONLIGHT

Venture out by moonlight and you’ll discover that Port Mac is buzzing. From sundowners and river views to craft brews and late-night beats, there’s a whole scene waiting once the sun goes down. We’ve done the hard yards (you’re welcome) to bring you the lowdown on where to go — whether you’re chasing live tunes, a cocktail or two, or a dance floor.

LIVE MUSIC & DJS

All the groovy young things (and the young-at-heart) flock to Finnians Tavern, The Beach House (‘The Beachy’), Little Shack, The Tapp Bar, and for late night dance floor DJ action, The Macca (Port Macquarie Hotel) and Altitude Nightclub for regular live music and DJs. After something a little more chill? Try Moorebeer Brewing Co., or Black Duck Brewery for relaxed tunes and local brews. Chop 'n' Chill and The Beach House (Sunday Sessions) like to keep it live and local. If you’re chasing the big names, check out Finnians, the Glasshouse, Panthers, or Laurieton United Services Club for ticketed gigs and touring acts. Special shout out to Finnians - which has won the Australian Hotelier’s Association Best Live Music Venue in NSW awardfor two years in a row!

SUNDOWNERS WITH A VIEW

Twilight on the Town Green is where it’s at. Start at the Beach House Hotel — Port Mac’s iconic waterfront hangout — and soak up that golden-hour glow. Stroll towards the Breakwall for cocktails under the fringed umbrellas at Little Shack, or go a little glam with river views at Zebu. Wander in the other direction and you’ll find Chop 'n' Chill spilling out onto Town Green, while Florence Jones Cheese & Wine Bar (overlooking Town Wharf) is serving up perfectly paired cheese and charcuterie with boutique wines and those sweet sunset views. Across the bridge, Rock Salt at the Marina, and The Tapp Bar at Panthers are popular options, and Sails Resort’s Boathouse Bar delivers Hamptonsstyle elegance by the water.

LOCAL BREWERS & DISTILLERS

If you prefer your nights served with hops, a hint of gin, or even limoncello, you’re in luck. Head to Moorebeer Brewing Co. or Black Duck Brewery for craft brews, good vibes, and regular live music (both tucked in the Lake Road Industrial Estate). Around the corner, Port Macquarie Distillery is pouring small-batch gin flights, cocktails and tasty nibbles in a sleek, urban-style space. And although the farm’s distillery isn’t open at night, you can still enjoy Maria River Distillery’s sublime ‘cellos’ in cocktails at Little Shack, Moorebeer, Noona’s & Moo & Bean.

COCKTAIL ALCHEMY

From riverside classics to cozy bar feels, Port Mac’s mixologists are shaking things up. Our faves? Birdrock Bar & Grill, The Beach House, Zebu, Little Shack, Stick Bar, Jimmy’s Bar, The Tapp Bar, Boathouse Bar, Moorebeer Brewing Co., or Bar Florian for creative twists on the classics — and good times guaranteed. If you’re in the Camden Haven area, we also love Moo & Bean, and the Royal Hotel at Kew.

FINNIAN’S TAVERN

For Irish Craic with a Port Mac Twist

It’s got steak. It’s got Guinness. It’s got live music that’ll have you dancing like nobody’s watching (but yes, everyone is). Finnian’s Tavern is where hearty meals meet good craic, and their charcoal-grilled steaks are the stuff of legend. Quench your thirst with an epic selection of ice-cold beers, fine wines, and spirited cocktailsFinnian’s lively, friendly crew is on hand to ensure every visit feels like a celebration, whether you’re there for a killer lunch, a fun night out, or to soak up the magic of local and touring live acts. Oh, and it's been crowned by the AHA as NSW’s Best Live Music Venue! See ad right.

FOR THE GIN-LOVERS

FYI: Did you know that Port Mac has become a bit of a gin-lovers hot spot? We’ve got three top-shelf distilleries. Maria River Distillery is a lush ex-dairy farm turned boutique gin haven. Think small-batch gins like the crowdfave Limoncello and Ginello, paired with epic antipasto platters. Then there’s Port Macquarie Distillery, hidden away in the industrial estate, with a super-cool Tasting Room & Bar. This isn’t your average sip stop. The honey and kumquat gins? Sublime. Last but not least, be sure to experience the portfolio from Three Wise Men Distillery. Their motto, "A wise man always brings gin". Aside from their impressive gin lineup, the local start-up boasts a whiskey gin and a saltbush vodka.

This shared pathway in the Camden Haven is a scenic walk or ride from the North Haven breakwall, over Stingray Creek Bridge, and around to the Camden Haven River at Laurieton. The newest section has just opened - a stunning over-water timber walkway just before the Dunbogan Boatshed. A must-do.

THE SCENIC PORT MACQUARIE COASTAL WALK

Putting your best foot forward - a definite ‘must do’ activity when in Port Macquarie is the Coastal Walk - a 9km easygrade walk that follows one of the most dramatic and inspiring coastlines in NSW. This walk features beaches, headlands, historic sites, rainforests and fantastic views.

Starting at Westport Park in town (map ref H8), all the way to Tacking Point Lighthouse, the walk takes approx 3.5 hours.

The Coastal Walk hugs the coastline and features boardwalks, steps for easier access to the headlands, viewing platforms and picnic shelters. Opportunities abound for viewing dolphins plus there is a variety of birdlife and the annual whale migration from May to November.

The Coastal Walk is the result of a partnership between Port MacquarieHastings Council and the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), with both organisations contributing infrastructure along the walk, and they've installed maps and signage on topics such as local history, whale watching and underwater ecology.

DIVISIONS OF GRANDEUR

The Coastal Walk is mostly easy grade and can be divided into four sections: Westport Park to Town Beach - 2 km (flat)

Town Beach to Flynns Beach - 2.2 km

Flynns Beach to Shelly Beach - 2.2 km

Shelly Beach to Tacking Point Lighthouse - 2.7 km

A few tips will help to make your walk more enjoyable for you and others:

• Keep to the track and keep away from cliff edges. Please take rubbish with you or use bins provided.

• Dogs are not allowed on some sections and some beaches, including Town Beach, Flynns Beach, Shelly Beach and Sea Acres National Park.

Wheelchair and pram-friendly sections include Westport Park to Oxley Beach (south).

Tacking Point Lighthouse is now wheelchair accessible.
