IHSS, or in-home supportive services

IHSS is a program that offers help with everyday tasks to people with disabilities who require assistance to stay safely in their own homes. Examples of services include personal care, housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation. IHSS enables people to select and oversee their carers.
