Von vorne bis hinten ist das Tal in MountainbikerHand. Haiming am Taleingang–die Heimat von MTBJuniorenweltmeisterin Laura Stigger –richtet unter anderem eine der führenden Rennserien Europas aus. Und weiter hinten im Tal liegt die Bike Republic Sölden, einer der spektakulärsten MTB-Spielplätze der Alpen. Dazwischen erstreckt sich ein dichtes Tourennetz mit abwechslungsreichen Strecken –von der Alm bis zum See. n

Haiming is the entrance to the valley,home of MTB Junior World Champion Laura Stigger and host of one of the major MTB race series in Europe.40 km further into the valley you find the Bike Republic Sölden, one of the most fun and dedicatedbike playgrounds in the Alps. And in-between there are numerous awesome routes for all levels leading to huts, peaks, andlakes. n

Every day, the quest for the unattainable, for perfection in wine, is what motivates and drives the Gager family in their work at their eponymous winery.

Since 1984, the family business has specialized in the production of premium quality red wines, and vintage after vintage, the aspirations grow higher. The Gagers’ motto can be seen emblazoned on a distinctive square label on every single bottle of wine. Unmistakably, the “Quadratur des Weines,” a phrase derived from a famous geometry problem, symbolizes the seemingly unattainable goal of the family business: Creating the perfect wine. The very first vintage received awards, and there are more awards and prizes year after year.
