BUILDING A LEGEND Larson's legacy spans more than 100 years, two World Wars, a Great Depression and four generations of boat builders. When your Larson comes fresh off the line, you not only become a member of the greatest heritage in boating, but you also enjoy the promise of future memories and unmatched value that can only come from America's hardest-working boat brand. The company Paul Larson began in 1913 is an industry leader because his passion has been passed down to today's generations of Larson boat builders.

Larson's manufacturing facilities recently moved from Little Falls, Minn., to Pulaski, Wis., opening up a whole new world of resources and manpower.

New lines of wooden boats introduced. Plant doubles in size.

1940s

New Larson factory constructed. Paul Larson gains acclaim racing boats.

1950s

Fiberglass manufacturing begins with patented Rand Gun and best-selling All American line.

1960s

Revolutionary Falls Flyer is launched, featuring airplane-like body and cockpit.

All American line expanded. New hulls introduced. Larson becomes world’s largest fiberglass runabout manufacturer.

1990s

Larson continues to innovate with bold styling for the runabout market, with metallic finishes and luxury interiors. Begins to use the Delta Conic Hull design for faster planing and a softer ride.

1980s

First wide-body, non-trailerable cruiser introduced: 30' Contempra. Company purchased by Irwin Jacobs.

2010s

Cabrio cruisers, Escapade daycruisers and SEi outboard boat lines expanded.

2000s

Legacy of innovation continues in both historic lines, with new models like the LX and LSR.

VEC® Composite Technology is used to create a precise manufacturing process for boats up to 22 feet.

Newly reconfigured for 2018, the LX 160 OB comes packed with family-friendly amenities, deep storage and increased freeboard height for added safety. Plentiful seating accommodates family and friends, and a standard ShoreLand'rÂŽ trailer takes you to waters near and far.

LX 185OB

The LX 185 OB features an all-new deck and maximized onboard comfort. U-shaped bench seating in the cockpit comes with storage below, and an optional filler cushion transforms the bow into a large sunpad. A standard 115-hp MercuryÂŽ engine powers watersports and long cruises alike.

LX 195

The LX 195 caters to fun of every kind, with comfortable lounge space throughout and the power for extra-thrilling watersports.

Use the oversized swim platform to dip your toes in the water (or do a full-on cannonball), and captain in comfort with the helm's flip-up sport seats with bolsters.

* For optimum resale value, the Larson warranty is transferable to a second owner for a nominal transfer fee of $500. The transferred structural warranty extends coverage to the second owner for the balance of 10 years from the date of the original owner’s purchase. For factory-installed, non-structural components, coverage remains for the balance of 2 years from the date of the original owner’s purchase.
