150TH ISSUE

Do you remember 1993?

It seems a long time ago now since Buckingham Palace opened for the first time to the public, the Grand National was announced void after a false start and Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was re-released in cinemas. Our children were settling down to watch favourites such as Art Attack, Brum, Chuckle Vision and still running - Thomas the Tank Engine, but Easter 1993 also saw the publication of the first ever issue of Term Times magazine. As you can see in this look back at some of the front covers, things have changed quite a bit, but teachers, parents and advertisers say Term Times remains a mustread publication as we proudly celebrate our 150th issue.

‘The Term Times magazine has been invaluable for informing parents/carers about local events and groups. The students enjoy browsing through the pages too, looking to see if they know anyone in the pictures.’ Sharon, teacher at NeneGate School

‘2020 had been a tough year for everyone. Winning this competition because of nominations from the parents in my year group, was such a boost. The nominations alone meant the world to me. The tree, wow it was beautiful, and made our Christmas special, despite everything else that was going on. Thanks again Term Times, you made our Christmas!' Darren White, Winner of the Nunton Farms Christmas tree in 2020

‘Term Times have given Fenland First Aid the perfect medium to reach our target audience. We congratulate Term Times on their 150th edition.’ Deborah from Fenland First Aid Services Ltd

'We have advertised with Term Times for many years, as the magazine goes directly to our target market, school aged children and families. Parents often say that this is where they first heard of us, and we have had many new pupils joining us as a direct result of these adverts. Perfect for any family focused business, Term Times is always a pleasure to deal with and makes it easy to boost your marketing in one simple step.' Julie, Little Voices Peterborough

‘Our children and their families love to read Term Times. It gives them lots of ideas for activities and days out, a real window on life in schools across their region and plenty of entertainment. Congratulations to the Term Times team on your 150th issue and we're looking forward to many more to come at Brington.’ Mark Farrell headteacher, Brington C of E Primary School
