In our teams first amateur years, back in early 2017, Dilemma Esports won multiple community Esports tournaments in various Esports League such as: ESL, ESA & MLG. After a short break to focus on school — we're back to deliver on our teams mission to deliver a memorable and positive experience, within the Esports community, for our fans, team members & partners.

Dilemma Esports is an entertainment and gaming organization; founded by Alan “SilentlyCEO” Henderson, a current MBA & Juris Doctorate Student pursuing a degree at Florida State University.

RULE LIST

THE IMPORTANCE

We’re all working remotely, it will be critically important that we really clarify how we’re going to work together to be most effective.

--We’ve all worked on dysfunctional teams and know the behaviors that encourage that dysfunction so let’s develop some ground rules to encourage the type of team environment that we want to foster.

--Here's a list of org-wide policies to ensure smoothest operations:

BRAINSTORM EXERCISE 1 Brainstorm a list of best practices for team members.

CONDUCT EXPECTATIONS: Dilemma Esports & Entertainment is responsible for providing a safe and secure workplace and strives to ensure that all individuals associated with the team are treated in a respectful and fair manner. Though it is not possible to list all forms of behavior that are unacceptable while representing the team, the following are examples of behavior that would be considered infractions of the teams rules of conduct. Such behavior may result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the org. This list is not intended to be exhaustive: Disregarding Team Confidentiality; i.e sharing internal team documents externally.

Using excessively abusive, threatening or obscene language.

Sexual or other harassment.

Willful destruction of team property or the property of a fellow team member. (I.e deleting strat books) Discriminatory Language of any kind.

CONDUCT EXPECTATIONS (cont.): Misrepresenting Partnerships &/Or False Promotions Disorderly conduct, including, but not limited to, fighting, provoking a fight, or attempting (or threatening) bodily harm or injury to another team member or to any other individual Soliciting, collecting money, or circulating petitions in server, or otherwise, without permission Use of alcohol, or drugs publicly or during a work setting Insubordination or refusal to follow instructions Instigating or participating in deliberate low productivity and/or interfering with another team members work.

Absence without proper notification or satisfactory reason. An absence of three consecutive days without notification or satisfactory reason is considered a voluntary termination.

THE IMPORTANCE

Our social media policy simply outlines how we, as an organization and the people that represent us — should conduct ourselves on the web.

It helps protect our teams online reputation and encourages other team members to get involved in sharing about our achievements online.

BRAINSTORM EXERCISE 2 Brainstorm a list of social media practices for team members.

Getting Followed by the team: — must have role & team acct tagged in bio — no inappropriate profile pictures or headers — can not feature other teams, players (that aren't on dilemma), or competing sponsors/brands

SOCIAL MEDIA EXPECTATIONS:

Be respectful to other teams & players Use discretion when tagging sponsors Try to post thoughtful content Avoid posting overly political content Do not engage in media dialogue/interviews as a representative of the team Maintain team confidentiality Continue to follow the rest of the team conduct rules.
