Project One (Traccing of…)

I did sketching by examining the RESTRICTED situations by touring Istanbul.

Project Two (Tunnel of‌) As a group, we brought the continuation of the story given to us and designed an underground tunnel based on the story.

Then we poured silicone into the plastic bottles to form cavities with balloons.

Project Three (Space of…)

I and my friend Sude, watched ‘The Salesman’ and we completed the drawings and model by analyzing the house in the film.

The houses that Asgard Fahradi used in his films reflect the culture in which the film was shot were always interesting. The house in the Salesman movie also helped us understand Iran's structure. In the middle of the house, the glazed space of the house made the glass and the living rooms window facing the apartment space, made home different.

Project Four (Transitions of‌)

By observing human movements in a public staircase in BeyoÄ&#x;lu, I designed a half-open and half-closed proposal for that region.

I made observations and transparency drawings on different days and hours in my project area.

I made a design that takes people who use the ladder from one point to another.

Sometimes people get on top of it and sometimes go under it and spend time in that design.

Project 5 (Crisis of‌) When I went to the land area, I talked to the people around me and found out that this structure was devastated by a fire 40 years ago, that the structure and the small cavity had two separate owners and that it had been unused for years. I made a research about the gaps in the city and the situation that these gaps took over time and I came across the master thesis which architect Pinar Akaslan wrote about permanence and temporality in architecture. In his thesis, she briefly said that the gaps in the city created areas that could become public in time. In my project, I designed a structure that questions the boundaries of public and personal spaces and raises in two elevations and opens the hall to the street. In my project, I did a Design by arranging a single-storey old building, which was in a ruined way, to be a garden inside.

I analyzed the temporary and permanent situations in the region and transferred them with drawing and collage techniques.

A musician lives in this building, which is entered from the street level, and the musician's private living spaces are located on the upper level. There is also a blind homeless who comes to the street in the evening and stays there. There is a crisis and a share between the real owner of the house and the person who comes to stay there because the toilet and bathroom of the house are on the street level and the close relationship between the sidewalk and the hall is established.
