MAY THE QUEEN OF PEACE SHOWER HER BLESSINGS UPON THIS HUMBLE TRIBUTE
PARENTS:
You have brought us from infancy to adolescence. You have fed us, clothed us, and sent us on our way to manhood. You have set ideals for us to follow. Without you these years at Saint Francis would have been impossible. Without you we would never have become what we are. We sincerely thank you.
TEACHERS:
You have continued our parents' efforts to mold us into men. You have dedicated precious moments to better our knowledge and form our character. You have helped us feel at home at Saint Francis. You have made Saint Francis a home away from home. We sincerely thank you.

The '58 football season was the last season for football here at St. Francis. The time has come when the school must move on to higher courses of college education, and the high school must make way for the college. The past season was a profitable one, not from the won-lost record but from the valuable experience gained by all those who played football. We wish to thank the coaches for their patience and understanding when things were not going too smoothly, for through them we learned that time does have its rewards. Football is gone from the scene, but the ringing voices of students and the spirited cry of the players will long be remembered by all .

The win closed St. Francis' •eason at 10 wins and 6 losses, one of their better marks in recent years. Hank Rojas paced the Wayne Lago-coached squad, pow·ing in 34 points. Joe Wagner and Ray Ouellette also hit double figures. Dick Talini and Ned Olson, along with Ray Archer, did the bulk of the scoring for the visitors. Steve Lynch, Red Knight center, was held to a season's low of five points but aided in the backboard control with Rojas. . l'ND• SL Francis led at half time wim 38-20 but drew away early in Ann the second half as Rojas and Jud, Randy Groom started to hit - from ln close. The Red Knights converted r A of 15 free throw attempts, with Windham clicking on 13 of 26 foul line tosses. lllt. 1·rani-l.s "-'nner,lt Karl.'( Groom.re

REV. SIMEON GIROUX, O.F.M. The student body pays its humble respects to Fr. Simeon who left us for his eternal reward on January 27, 1959 at the age of fifty-seven, after thirty and one half years of priestly life. Father Simeon, in his work among us, preached in various parishes, served Third Order organizations in the locality, and was especially in charge of monthly conferences to different communities of nuns. R. I. P.
,
GEORGE COTE George Cote, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Cote of Danvers, Mass., was accidently killed in a helicopter crash on January 18, 1959. Student at St. Francis from 1953 to 1958, this serviceman was buried on January 26 in Salem, Mass. St. Francis was represented by George's classmates who served as pallbearers. The funeral mass was sung by the principal, Rev. Clarence Laplante, O.F.M. R. I. P.
