How do you rate the growth of your company last year?

We are glad to announce that in previous year Array added a good number of customers. But honestly speaking unlike 2013, in 2014 we did not bag any million dollar deal. And it affected our company by bringing down our average sales value. But it’s not going to continue this year. Actually last year was neither too bad nor too good. It was somewhere in-between. We are going to make sure that we would satisfy our clients to fullest with our best-in-class products and services this year.

In what ways did the channel help you?

Channel partners play a critical role in supporting our overall strategy. Our goal is to recruit partners that are well-aligned with our software solutions and have considerable vertical market expertise. Channel partners help us understand exactly what the manufacturer offers as a part of its program and the expectations, as a reseller or channel partner, will need to meet and exceed. Moreover channel partners help us getting visibility in market. Basically, partners programs give the opportunity to promote our products or services. Joining with channel partner program, we are benefitted by receiving product and marketing training, discounts, technical support, lead generation tools etc.

What is your go-to-market strategy in 2015? How different would it be from 2014?

The forthcoming year 2015 will see strategic changes in order to counter and make up for the shortcomings in 2014. Channels will find a big push plus identifying new solution partners and developing strong pipeline will be our priority. Another major strategic development that we intend on carrying out is identifying Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and partner with them to create joint propositions.

How deeply are you entrenched in the market, especially in tier 2, tier 3 and tier 4 cities?

We have found a strong foothold in the market. Tier 2 cities are of great importance from a sales perspective. Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities help us in establishing a strong support system.

Capgemini Announced Acquisition Plan for IGATE

apgemini and IGATE announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement under which Capgemini will acquire IGATE for a cash consideration of $48 per share. The transaction will amount to $4.0 billion and is expected to be immediately accretive to Capgemini’s normalized Earnings Per Share (EPS). The merger agreement has been approved unanimously by both Capgemini’s and IGATE’s Board of Directors. The transaction has also been approved by the written consent of shareholders holding a majority of IGATE’s shares. This transaction would lead to a group with an estimated combined revenue of €12.5 billion in 2015, an operating margin above 10% and around 190,000 employees. The combined Group will pass the 100,000 employees landmark in its Rightshore® delivery centers in 2015. This transaction fulfills one of the essential components of Capgemini’s strategy in expanding its presence in the North American market. Prices of PCs to Rise by Up to 10 % in 2015 Consumer Behaviour

evice vendors will have to raise the prices of PCs to offset the effects of currency devaluation, according to Gartner, Inc. Gartner said prices of PCs in the Eurozone and Japan, in particular, will increase by up to 10 percent during 2015. "We are currently seeing the sharp appreciation of the dollar against most other currencies reflected in companies' earnings results,"said Ranjit Atwal, research director at Gartner. "PC vendors selling to Europe and Japan, where local currencies have fallen up to 20 percent since the start of 2015, have little choice than to raise prices to preserve profits." In 2015, Gartner estimates that end-user spending in constant dollars* in Western Europe will reach $116 billion, a 4 percent increase over 2014. This increase reflects the expected price increases in local currency. "Device vendors will mitigate the impact of their declining "dollarized" profits by taking advantage of single-digit-percentage decreases in PC component costs during 2015, and by selling PCs with fewer features to keep prices down," said Mr. Atwal. "However, vendors' margins will fall, even as they shift their shipment focus to the regions least affected by these currency effects."

In mature markets, PC sales are determined by price and, through 2016, Gartner expects that 30 percent of PC consumers will buy down the price curve. Gartner analysts also expect the following behaviors amongst PC consumers: RANJIT ATWAL, research director at Gartner. • Price-driven consumers (of PCs priced at less than $500) will purchase less expensive PCs with lower specifications to counter price rises. This segment is expected to be 30 percent of the market. • Value-driven consumers (of PCs priced at $500 to $800) will delay purchases due to rising prices. This segment is expected to be 40 percent of the market. • Feature-driven consumers (of PCs priced at over $800) will extend lifetimes by 10 percent to compensate for higher prices, and absorb remaining price increases. This segment is expected to be 30 percent of the market.
