Texas is not just the land of cowboys and oil barons, it’s also home to thousands of surfers who are just as stoked and dedicated to their sport as any Californian or Hawaiian. The Texas Surf Museum, which opened in 2005, explores the history of ĂƒĂ•Ă€w˜} >˜` ĂƒÂ…ÂœĂœV>ĂƒiĂƒ ĂŒÂ…i œ˜i -ĂŒ>Ă€ -ĂŒ>ĂŒiÂ˝Ăƒ Ă•Â˜ÂˆÂľĂ•i place in that history.
The Texas Surf Museum is a must-see for anyone who ever surfed, and a delightful adventure for non-surfers as well. 5HOD[ RQ D EHQFK PDGH IURP VXUIERDUGV FDWFK D VXUI Ć“OP in the projection theater, and spot old buddies and young stars in the hundreds of photos scattered throughout the museum. In June 2014, TSM transitioned from a privately-owned museum into a 501(c)(3) organization. This transition will allow the Museum to be an active part of the community, provide educational opportunities for local and surrounding schools, and for the community to be a part of the Museum. We ordered the popular Executive Surf Burger with Onion Rings and it did not disappoint. The patio is dog friendly so you can even bring your furry friends!
