Paying for Noncredit Health Career Training
You're self-motivated, self-disciplined, and willing to take responsibility for your own learning.
Networking AAS With online courses, there's no instructor standing in front of you daily to give homework and ask for assignments. That's why self-discipline and self-motivation are so important for online learners. You must be able to plan ahead, keep track of your own assignments and stick to a schedule.
You can communicate well in writing.
In an online course, discussion boards and email typically replaces face-to-face conversation, so you must to be able to express yourself in writing. Being able to effectively communicate with your instructor and your classmates when needed is a key part of taking online courses.
Non-credit health careers courses do not qualify for assistance through financial aid, but there are a few financial resources students may be able to use to fund their training programs.
TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION
Texas residents who are unemployed and/or low income may qualify for tuition assistance from the Texas Workforce Commission for the following programs: Pharmacy Technician.
