In case you missed the Board community meeting in April, here is what was reviewed about the current status of the Clubhouse and our loan: The bank that we had spent months working with, added to their underwriting requirements when we were days from setting a closing date. They decided to require that our deed-restrictions be amended after discussion with our lawyer who told them we had no authority to ever hold a ‘special assessment’ if ever needed. The board felt that was unreasonable and nearly impossible and not something we would agree to for our community. We immediately started working to get rates and terms with other banks, and as of this letter being written, we have applied with at least 2 other banks All Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at the and are hopefully close to selecting a bank with the Clubhouse at the Park. best terms. While the Board is extremely frustrated with the speed of this project, we will continue to work toward doing what is financially and legally best for the community. We hope to see you out enjoying our beautiful park and hope all continue to use and rent the clubhouse while it’s still available!
