Hank & Pam created Shapeshifters with “Forever Changing” in mind where they want their customers to find fresh new inventory and varied offerings every time they stop by to visit. Their love for old things (they include themselves in that category) and a disdain for the “throw away mentality” prevalent today is the origin of the name Shapeshifters, mythical figures with the ability to change forms. They creatively recondition old furniture and household pieces, find new uses for well-made items that are worn or outdated.

Workshops, classes and crafting parties for adults and kids are offered along with wares from around Texas and a gallery featuring local artists. Kelly opened Super Squad in 2006 after realizing there was no cheerleading offered to the kids in Boerne. In 2005, Kelly and her family moved to Boerne from San Angelo, Texas and were immediately excited about the Boerne Independent School District. All three of her children are currently in BISD and absolutely love school. Her family happily calls Boerne their home.

She says that the community is so close that it feels like family and that they wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

With 25 years of combined experience in gymnastics and cheer, Kelly is the owner of Super Squad of the Hill Country and KO Cheer.

Since age 18, she has been a Program Director for three different gyms. Before opening her own business, she was in charge of 1,000 plus students in recreational gymnastics/tumbling/cheer program for ages 3yr-15yr olds and also coached competitive Levels 2-10. In the first part of Kelly’s life, gymnastics was her main focus, having received many State and National titles.

Retired from gymnastics at age 14 as a junior elite gymnast trained by the former Olympic Coach Bela Karolyi, her passion shifted to cheer. Kelly cheered middle school through her senior year in High School and kept up with her tumbling skills at a local gym. Cheer and Gymnastics have always been her passion and she knew at a very young age that this was her calling and what she wanted to do.

SUPER SQUAD is a recreational, non-competitive cheer program that we offer at your child’s school, after school one day a week. Super Squad focuses on fundamental skills of cheer, dance, tumbling, jumps, and stunts. Super Squad performs locally and around the Hill Country. Some of our fun performances are the Boerne High School Boys basketball ½ time show, Dickens on Main, and the San Antonio Spurs! KO CHEER offers several different options. KO has All Star competitive teams Level 1-3. For the past 4 years, KO has brought home six National Championship titles and a Division Champion for The One competition in New Orleans. Our teams have been very successful. At KO, it’s more of a select sport.

There is more of a commitment by our athletes and parents as we do compete at the Regional and National level. In addition to our All Star teams, we also offer FUN summer camps, beginner and advanced tumbling classes, Parent’s Night Out, tiny tots cheer (3-6yr olds), and we also offer private lessons to polish skills.
