Alongside Martin’s Paint & Body, Martin Hoffpauir expanded his expertise into another field. In 2015, he made the decision to purchase his own tow truck to maximize convenience for customers who needed both repairs and towing for their vehicles. Since then, Martin went full time into the towing business in 2021 by opening the shop, Luke’s Towing & Recovery, operated by his son, Luke Hoffpauir. They also purchased one of the

oldest towing companies in Sulphur, Louisiana, called Knipper’s Wrecker, to expand their service into Calcasieu and Cameron parish. They currently have three heavy duties and three roll backs that are available 24/7 for customers.

After doing body work since a young age, Martin Hoffpauir had a desire to open his own shop. His license was received in 1997. His son, Luke, has been alongside Martin in learning the business and continuing its success.

This business has their priority set on paint and body to get customers’ vehicles back to their pre-accident

condition. All vehicles do not leave the shop without proper inspection and quality for customer needs. Customer service is key to their business, as they aim to make bad situations into good experiences. They’ve been trained on all the manufacturing specs and how to recalibrate the safety features of each make and model. Since they’re the first body shop in the area to be equipped with the newest technology for

calibrating vehicle safety systems, they recently scheduled the first class to teach new technology for body shops.
