Buckle Up Tight and Back What’s Right is our theme and our center fold message. I feel certain that many, if not most, of you are wanting to do just that: Stay prepared or buckled up, and do, believe, think, and act on what is right.

However, these are not easy things to do in many instances today. We face Executive Orders, mandates, and regulations or deregulations on issues of all kinds…abortion, open borders, dismissal of the Keystone XL Pipeline jobs, Supreme Court Justices refusing to hear cases revealing the illegality of the Presidential election, and on and on. And so many actions are done seemingly without concern for the people, and without input from many who were elected to govern this wonderful nation of ours.

So, what is a small-town person to do? What can we do?

One thing is to stay informed. That may seem hard to do. The truth is that it does take some effort. But, isn’t our nation, our way of life worth the effort? Whoever is in office, we need to listen to the proposed laws, the regulations, or the plans that are being proposed, and look at the truth, or lack of, when considering the facts. Read and discuss with people you know to be informed, reasonable, wise. And if you are the parent of teens or younger children, talk with them about the truths about issues you know to be wrong: abortion, lawlessness, deception; and discuss with them the issues that are right: following what the Constitution states, loving our nation that so many have sacrificed their lives to keep for us. This is one thing we can do. We can stay informed. We can consider what is right or wrong and stand for the right.

Another thing to do is get involved. Write your Congressman or Congresswoman, and know what they are voting on and voting for. If you disagree, text or email them what you believe is right and why. Speak out in control with wisdom and knowledge. And stay involved in the affairs of your own city and state, and in the affairs of our country. Don’t adopt an “I can’t do anything anyway” attitude!

Oh, the deception some elected officials are trying to perpetuate: open borders with no restraint, abortion to the 9th month, gun control by the Federal government, increased taxes, transgender female athletes competing against female athletes, and controlling our Churches, deciding when they can be open, and how many can enter. And, another paramount problem: human trafficking, children and women disregarded.

Let’s all buckle up and back what is right! We can do it. We can seek to be wise in every way we can!!!!
