This evangelizing syllabus has its beginnings in my “Mémoire” for the academic course at “Centre International Lumen Vitae” in Brussels, Belgium in 1976 with the title “L`Annonce du Kérygme” and evaluated as “Grande Distinction” by the board of examination. I presented it as a course with Father Salvador Carrillo and Pastor Bill Finke in July 1980 in Chilpancingo, Mexico. It was then published in book format in 1983 and the syllabus is elaborated with the name “FELIPE” from 1990-1993 PU JVSSHIVYH[PVU ^P[O -Y ,TPSPHUV ;HYKPɈ HUK -Y 9PJHYKV (YNH|HYHa 9LNPZ[LYLK 0U[LSSLJ[\HS 7YVWYPL[` HUK JVW`YPNO[LK TH` In 1999 it is printed as the course “New Life” with the collaboration of Ballanti F., Grammatica A. II. COURSE THEMES PRESENTATION a.

Analogy or Parable that is enacted

Stephen was a young man born into a wealthy family who lived in the northern part of the country. He went abroad to study a master’s in law. Nearing the completion of his studies, his father called and asked him: Son, what do you want as a graduation present? Stephen knowing that his father was generous and very wealthy responded: ;OL -LYYHYP [OH[ PZ VU [OL KLHSLYZOPW»Z ZOV^YVVT ÅVVY :V :[LWOLU ^V\SK MYLX\LU[S` WHZZ I` [OL ZOV^YVVT ÅVVY [V ZLL [OL WYLJPV\Z H\[VTVIPSL RUV^PUN [OH[ ZVVU P[ ^V\SK IL OPZ >OLU NYHK\H[PVU KH` ÄUHSS` HYYP]LK :[LWOLU ^HZ tremendously happy and his father was very proud. His father approached Stephen to give him the present: it was a beautifully ornate box. Stephen, with distrust, opened the box. He was expecting the car, not a gift inside a box. Stephen was greatly surprised when he simply saw that there was a book, it was a beautiful )PISL IV\UK PU ÄUL SLH[OLY ^P[O OPZ UHTL LUNYH]LK PU NVSK SL[[LYZ HUK [OL KH[L VM OPZ graduation. The young man, frustrated and disappointed, felt that his father, being able to give him anything he could have wished for, limited himself by giving him a simple Bible. Stephen, full of anger and disillusion complained: “Father, you’re so cheap! You have all the money in the world and today, the most important day in my life you only give me a Bible. I no longer want anything from you, I refuse to live with you from this day on.” Years passed by and Stephen did not return home. Until the day that news arrived that his elderly father was deathly ill. When he returned home he found that his father had passed away. In the testament his father left everything to Stephen. As he was going through the some items that had been left to him, he came across that beautifully ornate box which still held the Bible that he had rejected on the day of his graduation. Then, with remorse in his heart, he took the Bible and began to leaf through the pages and admired by a passage that his father had underlined, which read: “The Lord grants your heart’s desire.” Stephen repeated: The Lord grants my heart’s desire. At that moment a set of keys that were in between the pages of the Bible fell to the ground. They were the keys to the Ferrari that he had most desired.
