It doesn’t get better than this. The inaugural Capital Beer Classic on July 30 will host over 60 breweries, unlimited beer and in samples, Washington Redskin alumnae and cheerleaders and live entertainment.

Tickets are $55 for general admission (VIP tickets are $75 with a few additional perks).

The only thing you need to add to a hot day with cold beer is great music.

The day-long fun includes two bands, Turtle Recall and The Morrison Brothers Band. Turtle Recall is a young band who bring a mix of top 40, rock and pop while The Morrison Brothers Band is solid country.

Among the transportation options is Skedaddle, a flexible cutting edge mass transportation network. It’s clean, efficient, upscale and affordable. Give it a try – better than driving. A little something for the designated driver: a reduced ticket ($25) for all activities....except having beer and wine. It’s a terrible thing at a beer classic but that’s how it works best.
