SHINER ESCAPE ROOM PROVES TO BE AN APPEALING CHALLENGE FOR YOUNG AND OLD ALIKE

ooking for a thrilling adventure? Shiner Escape
LRoom puts players in a real-life game where they must work together in a race against the clock to solve a series of increasingly challenging puzzles. Participants should be prepared to have their wits tested and entertainment level raised when they prepare to enter the best escape room in the area.
Founded by Wayne Denson, Shiner Escape Rooms was born from a love of escape rooms that he shares with his daughter, Katie.
“It’s kind of our thing,” said Denson. “My daughter and I have played many escape rooms together. Between us both, we’ve played over 200 rooms in five different states. We enjoy it so much that, in 2019, we decided that Shiner needed that kind of entertainment.”
Denson writes all of the story lines and comes up with the challenges that players will face in each of the four scenarios he currently has in play at Shiner Escape Room.

“We try to come up with a concept and figure out how to make it work,” added Denson.
“There needs to be a theme and people need to feel immersed in whatever game they are playing. It also needs to be challenging as well as fun.”
And, speaking of challenging, the most difficult room currently in play at Shiner Escape Room is one called Stash House Escape.
“It is definitely our most challenging room,” shared Denson. “The story is that you’ve been kidnapped by a drug cartel and forced to manufacture illegal drugs. You will need to figure out a way to escape.”
Despite the challenge, patrons of Shiner Escape Room find a lot of fun in the thrill of the escape.
“I hear feedback from people all the time,’ said Denson. “People who have played in the big cities, like Austin, Houston, and Dallas, talk about how the games in Shiner are just as good, if not better, than those games.”
Always looking forward, Denson is currently busy working on his newest game, Last Stop Motel, set to be released in the summer of 2021.
“I’m building it right now,” said Denson. “I haven’t finished working on the overall theme but after I get everything installed, I’ll have it beta tested with focus groups before we release it to the public.”
