The Hunter’s Wife Weekend

The Hunter’s Wife Weekend, sponsored by the Burleson Chamber of Commerce, is an enjoyable day of shopping and wine tasting for ladies in November.

According to the chamber’s website, ladies can enjoy local shopping, wine tasting, door prizes, various activates, and just great fun with friends. Destinations are all across Burleson County, including Somerville and Caldwell. Rides are provided between Somerville and Caldwell, with shuttles available for transportation around Caldwell, as well.

BURLESON COUNTY FAIR

Sometimes you just need a dose of some good old-fashioned fair activities—a livestock show, downtown parade, carnival rides, unique shopping, live music to dance to, a funnel cake, or maybe a cold beer. If that’s the case, you might want to load the family in the truck and head out to the Burleson County Fair in Caldwell. The annual fair takes place at Burleson County Fairgrounds 905 TX 36, in Caldwell, always the third weekend in September.
