‘Twas the Hour Before Bingo ‘Twas the hour before bingo, when all through the hall not a number had been called, none at all. The daubers were ready all lined in a row, in great hope of winning a big bunch of dough.

The blower comes on making balls dance about they’re calling my numbers, there is no doubt. Just one away and what do I see? My number on the monitor, it couldn’t be!

The players were nestled all snug in their chairs, while studying their cards, every one of the squares. The cashiers and floor workers were selling around, when what do we hear but a caller’s sound.

BINGO I yell, so clear and loud, it brings out a moan from the rest of the crowd. I knew in a moment that this was my game, I’ll be back every day for more of the same!

Welcome to your Golden Bingo Family Hall! We are here for your pleasure, one and all. We will start in a moment, get ready to win because the excitement and thrill is about to begin.

The usher sprang to my side and she counted out cash. The game’s old paper was sent to the trash. But I heard the caller as he stepped out of sight. “Happy Bingo to all, and to all a good night!”

Unfortunately I cannot say that 2022 will be easy for you dear Capricorn. It will surely have its ups and downs and has potential to be a great year however that will not be without many opportunities for growth (also known as wrong turns). You will have to work doubly hard for what used to just come naturally. Take a step back and remember all of this is temporary and through this hard work will come a shiny life that you’ve worked for.

You’re going to find yourself torn this year. Look to those closest to you, friends and family, that only want what’s best for you. Discuss the changes that you are going through and ask for their honest feedback. Through all of this, the last half of the year will be balanced and you’ll be able to enjoy the fruits of these decisions with the ones that you counted on.

Things are changing left and right and all you can do is have an optimistic look at life. You’re going to be able to handle everything that is being thrown at you but you just need to be persistent in the objectives that will get you to your goals. You will find yourself and family life with some tension, focus on this before the pressure gets to be too much for anyone to tolerate. Health and good fortune are in your house throughout most of the year, embrace this journey you’re on.

The stars are asking for you to get to collaborating with those around you and reach out to others you may not have thought about. Calling all my singles Love is in the air this year! Make sure that you speak your mind for what you are looking for but remember to hear others out. Married and partnered up folks, be ready for a wealthy & prosperous year. In your professional world - everything is looking fresh and surprisingly well.

During this last month of 2021, you will be pulled in many ways and it’s time for you to step into your space and succeed at what you want to have in your life, not have life run you. Make sure to write down your goals for this year and reassess them as the year goes along. Schedule in time with yourself quarterly to make sure that your time is where you truly want to be.

Rise and shine into your space dear Gemini. You’ll be tapping into your artistic projects that make you shine like the star you are. The biggest inspiration will be when you pay attention to your mood and your heart. Listen to yourself and your intuition, she knows a thing or two about you and will be a guiding factor in how you go through the path of 2022. Success is surely in your world this year, be sure to look out for help when it presents itself.

Stop being the “yes” person this year. Re-Envision your year - how can you make this the year of “no?” What can you say “no” to when people or obligations come to you? Boundaries will be a new plan of attack and yes, it will be uncomfortable at first but stand up for yourself. You have big projects on your mind and the only way to accomplish them is to be firm in your boundaries.

Money money money is all positive this year. You will have a good flow of cash coming in. Don’t worry though, Saturn is here to help you get everything under control. With health at the forefront of what you’re looking to expand on, be patient with yourself; remember, slow progress is still progress. Take trips in order to recharge yourself and your world views. Partnerships will be key in 2022 and thankfully people are willing to help.

What a successful year you’re bound to have! It’s not without hard work though. The reigning planet, Jupiter, is here to help you with prioritizing your needs. You’ll be able to get your focus back that may have been missing for the last few months of 2021. Jupiter’s brother, Saturn, pops in to work things out with you and your family in order to maintain peace.

This year will be all about your choices. What do you want from this year? This year will not be as smooth as you hoped but it’s not anything that you can’t get over. Through the hardships you will be able to grow and learn to come out stronger. Thankfully your relationships will be golden and solid throughout this year and you will be able to call on these connections to get you out of situations.

Get the popcorn ready because you’re in for loads of drama, not watching it but being front and center. Not all drama has to be bad though; in this case you’re ready for a great amount of twists and pleasant surprises throughout the year. Your social life will fluctuate to a natural flow. Luck will be on your side and this will be a common theme throughout 2022.

Things are changing thanks to Jupiter and Saturn coming in to create a force. It’s time to reinvent yourself and walk in to 2022 with a force that no one has seen before. This will make people uncomfortable but that is not up for you to change about them. Focus on the growth occurring from within and your oceans will be calm.

STOVETOP POTPOURRI FOR YOU R H O M E O R M A SO N JA R G IF T

One of the things I am loving this year that has totally put me in the Christmas spirit is Christmas stovetop potpourri. There’s something so nostalgic and old-fashioned about having a pot of cranberries, orange slices and cinnamon sticks simmering on the stove. There are lots of different recipes you can use for potpourri, and I plan on trying them out all winter, but this is a classic one and one of my favorites. What I especially love is that this one makes an adorable gift. If you’re planning on giving the

DIRECTIONS 1. Put one clementine in the jar and the 3 cinnamon sticks on one side of the jar so the sticks touch the bottom of the jar. You can also take a cinnamon stick or 2 and tie it on the outside as some extra embellishment. 2. Put the pine or rosemary twigs on the other side. 3. Pour in half the cranberries so they fill in the gaps. 4. Add your second clementine. Then add the rest of your cranberries. Give jar a little shake so everything settles in. 5. Add your spices. I put the whole cloves and all the spices together in one baggie. 6. Decorate and embellish however you like! I tied cinnamon and a pine sprig with jute string. Then, I added the gift tag, spice bag and a dried orange tied with raffia.

SUDOKU

Games & puzzles Words go left, right, up, down, not diagonally, and can bend at a right angle. There are no unused letters in the grid and every letter is used only once.

The rules of Sudoku are that you should fill a number into every cell in the grid, using numbers 1 to 9. The restriction is that you can only use each number once in each row, each column and in each 3 x 3 boxes.
