‘Twas the Hour Before Bingo ‘Twas the hour before bingo, when all through the hall not a number had been called, none at all.

The daubers were ready all lined in a row, in great hope of winning a big bunch of dough.

The blower comes on making balls dance about they’re calling my numbers, there is no doubt.

Just one away and what do I see?

My number on the monitor, it couldn’t be!

The players were nestled all snug in their chairs, while studying their cards, every one of the squares.

The cashiers and floor workers were selling around, when what do we hear but a caller’s sound.

BINGO I yell, so clear and loud, it brings out a moan from the rest of the crowd.

I knew in a moment that this was my game, I’ll be back every day for more of the same!

CROCKPOT WHITE CHICKEN CHILI This White Chicken Chili Crock Pot Recipe is a family favorite easy dinner!

It’s so simple to make and doesn’t take much time at all! The secret is adding the ingredients in the right order and waiting on the cream at the end. This soup will keep you warm and full through these cold months

ingredients •

1 lb. Chicken Breast

•

1 White Onion Diced

•

2 Cans of White Northern Beans

•

1 Can of Whole Kernel Corn

•

10 oz. Can of Rotel

•

1 tsp. Garlic Powder

•

1 tsp. Salt

•

1 tsp. Black Pepper

•

1 tsp. Cumin

•

1 tsp. Chili Powder

•

½ tsp. Cayenne Pepper

•

32 oz. Chicken Broth

•

8 oz. Block of Cream Cheese

•

¼ Cup Half & Half or Heavy Cream

Topping Ideas: Cheese, Avocado, Fresh Cilantro, Sour Cream, Salsa, & Tortilla Chips

In a Bowl combine Salt, Pepper, Cumin, Chili Powder, Cayenne Pepper, Garlic Powder & Stir

2. Place Chicken Breasts into the Bottom of your Slow Cooker. Sprinkle Seasonings over the Chicken 3. Drain the Beans and Corn 4. Top chicken with Onion, Drained Beans, Drained Corn, & Rotel. Add the entire container of Chicken Broth

to the Slow Cooker 5. Cover and Cook on low for 6-8 hours (Until Chicken is Fork Tender) 6. Remove Chicken and shred with forks. Return Chicken to Slow Cooker. Add in Cream Cheese and Half & Half / Heavy Cream 7.

Cook another 15 minutes on High and Serve with your favorite toppings!

Gather the ingredients. In a warm Irish coffee glass or mug, add the honey, lemon juice, and spices. Top with hot, freshly brewed tea. Stir well. Garnish with a lemon wedge. Serve and enjoy.

DIY Christmas

STOVETOP POTPOURRI FOR YOU R H O M E O R M A SO N JA R G IF T

One of the things I am loving this year that has totally put me in the Christmas spirit is Christmas stovetop potpourri. There’s something so nostalgic and old-fashioned about having a pot of cranberries, orange slices and cinnamon sticks simmering on the stove. There are lots of different recipes you can use for potpourri, and I plan on trying them out all winter, but this is a classic one and one of my favorites. What I especially love is that this one makes an adorable gift.

If you’re planning on giving the

DIRECTIONS 1. Put one clementine in the jar and the 3 cinnamon sticks on one side of the jar so the sticks touch the bottom of the jar. You can also take a cinnamon stick or 2 and tie it on the outside as some extra embellishment.

2. Put the pine or rosemary twigs on the other side.

3. Pour in half the cranberries so they fill in the gaps.

4. Add your second clementine. Then add the rest of your cranberries. Give jar a little shake so everything settles in.

5. Add your spices. I put the whole cloves and all the spices together in one baggie.

6. Decorate and embellish however you like! I tied cinnamon and a pine sprig with jute string. Then, I added the gift tag, spice bag and a dried orange tied with raffia.
