BRYSON INDOOR C

AIR CONDITIONING & Chris Bryson was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, moved to Texas in the third grade and did not move to Katy until he returned from serving in the army a few years ago. It was in Katy, however, that Bryson found his calling. Bryson started his family-0wned and operated business, B.I.C.C. Approved, two years ago. The company, which was just recently named Best of Katy’s Heating and Air Conditioning for 2019, is on a fast rise to success. “Heating and air conditioning saved my family,” Bryson said. “Before I was an HVAC specialist, I was a structural designer. I designed apartments, schools, churches and storage facilities. When the economy tanked in 2008-2009, my family lost everything, and I found myself in the unemployment line and unable to

find a job. So, I put endless thought into what my next steps were going to be and I landed on HVAC because we live in Houston. I should always have a job! “I took a two-year course in one year and got certified to join the workforce again. Once I got things going, I quickly realized I had found my calling. I’m great with people and I genuinely enjoy helping others. There is no greater feeling of joy than to arrive at someone’s home who is absolutely miserable, solve their problem and see the smile on their face because you were their savior.” Bryson Indoor Comfort Consultants offices out of 5425 North Fry Road and operates Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bryson recently talked about his company and winning Best of Katy for his particular expertise.

Q: How does it feel to win Best of Katy? A: Winning Best of Katy Heating and Air Conditioning 2019 is a huge honor! It is our first major recognition as a business. We are very thankful to the community and our clients for voting us the Best of Katy. Q: What is the best part about serving the Katy community? A: Katy, Texas, has a population of about 20,000. It’s a huge community, yet still keeps its small-town feel. Katy is very well respected, and I believe we hold each other accountable. At the end of the day, we love our children and community and it shows. Q: What do you think it says about your company that you were honored with this award? A: I think it says in a short period of time, we have made a huge impression with the consumer. There are so many people who support us. The feedback we get the most is honesty and trustworthy. I think it says if you haven’t heard of us yet, you should definitely consider us now! Q: Tell us about your company, which I understand to be a family business. How did the Brysons get involved in heating and air conditioning? A: B.I.C.C. Approved. B.I.C.C. stands for Bryson Indoor Comfort Consultants. Obviously, that is a mouthful, so we abbreviated it. Our motto is “give your home the B.I.C.C. stamp of approval.” As people get to know and trust us, they began to ask if certain things were B.I.C.C. approved. In a sense, they have grown to recognize us for having a high-quality standard.

G & HEATING

Q: Why should customers choose your business over others? A: I would say the honesty and impeccable customer service. Most of the big-name companies have lost sight of why they went into the business in the first place. When you call them, you find yourself as a number on their spreadsheet to hit their sales goal. I believe people have lost their trust with AC companies. We are looking to restore that void. We put the customer first. We won’t tell you why you need something, we’ll inform you. Invoicing, estimates and payments are all digital. We are working on an app for convenient booking. We have a subscription filter service. We believe maintenance is the key to efficiency and longevity. Q: Is there anything else you would like people to know about your company? A: We value your business and we want nothing but the best for you. We have built our business on word-of-mouth and referrals. There is no greater reward than your referral, and we want to thank you all who have done so. Those people are the ones who helped us win Best of Katy 2019! Thank you!
