Two of the most critical positions at Brenham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center are the Director of Nurses and Director of Rehabilitation Services. These positions are held by two local professionals who have the experience and the know how to deliver quality patient care and proven therapy outcomes. Megan Jackon, RN, WCC, DON and Tanya Hupe, PTA RC, both have strong ties to Washington and the surrounding counties and value the opportunity to help the residents from these communities. This strong bond between these two individuals is especially important as BNRC continues its Cardiac Recovery Program and Orthopedic Specialty Program. This is an integrated effort between nursing and rehabilitation that identifies and closely monitors patients with specific conditions that put them at high risk for repeat hospitalizations. The main goal of these programs is to enhance the quality of care that is delivered while reducing unnecessary trips to the hospital.
