D R O W THE FROM BUTORS I CONTR

MELANIE TAWIL - EDITOR Melanie’s a lifelong bingo advocate and former player. When we devised the plan in 2014 to make a bingo magazine, we knew exactly what we wanted to see that wasn’t in other publications - you! Most importantly, articles and games that are fun to interact with and something that you can give us feedback on. Together with our team at The Bingo Nugget, a SwipeTrack Solutions Subsidiary, we have made it our mission to bring you the best every month. Melanie is a mom of two little future bingo players.

MORGAN SIGLER - DESIGN Morgan Sigler executes Design & Brand for The Bingo Nugget and is a native to San Antonio. She also is a single mom of two little boys ages 10 and 7. She enjoys spending time with her family, DIY projects, being outside and baking. From balancing work, kids and life she will guide us on the modern journey of parenthood (best she knows how). She hopes to inspire all types of moms.

‘Twas the Hour Before Bingo

‘Twas the hour before bingo, when all through the hall not a number had been called, none at all. The daubers were ready all lined in a row, in great hope of winning a big bunch of dough.

The blower comes on making balls dance about they’re calling my numbers, there is no doubt. Just one away and what do I see? My number on the monitor, it couldn’t be!

The players were nestled all snug in their chairs, while studying their cards, every one of the squares. The cashiers and floor workers were selling around, when what do we hear but a caller’s sound.

BINGO I yell, so clear and loud, it brings out a moan from the rest of the crowd. I knew in a moment that this was my game, I’ll be back every day for more of the same!

Welcome to your Golden Bingo Family Hall! We are here for your pleasure, one and all. We will start in a moment, get ready to win because the excitement and thrill is about to begin.

The usher sprang to my side and she counted out cash. The game’s old paper was sent to the trash. But I heard the caller as he stepped out of sight. “Happy Bingo to all, and to all a good night!”

Nov 23 - Dec 20

Dec 21 - Jan 20

So sorry to break this to you dear Sagittarius but this will not be a good month for you. You’re being tested every angle you move and you’re going to be learning so much about you. Independence is key this month and you’ll be relying on your gut for every decision you make. You are strong.

You dictate your life, you are the master of your future. The planets are there to help you along the way. Your personality gets you far and through the most difficult of situations. Whatever challenges that you have coming your way, you’re able to jump through them quickly and gracefully.

Focus should be on self exploration this month. Your planetary leaders are with you along the way and will help you as you steer your ship throughout the waters of life. Take others along with you during this journey. Make sure they know what you’re up to and you have help along the way.

It is nothing but a roller coaster this month so make sure you are ready for that emotional turbulence and don’t be afraid to put your oxygen mask on yourself first. You are more than capable of what is to come and you just need to trust the process. Ask people to help you out from time to time.

You’ve been waiting for the sign and here it is - make that change. You have been wanting a new look both physically and mentally, your life is ready for a major overhaul. All of the distractions that had been surrounding you are being lifted by the cosmos and you’re ready for more, more out of life and love.

You’re on the path for new beginnings as we close out 2020! The negative things that have been bubbling up in your personal relationships are coming full boil and you must act on decisions now. You cannot go into 2021 with the same stagnant issues that you had this year. Allow for a growth mindset and be ready for the newness of the new year.

What a time to be alive, Gemini! While you’ve been waiting for the relationships that you thought would bring you joy to be fulfilled, you are ready to let them go and emotionally prepare for fresh opportunities coming your way. Be heart open and ready for life-changing, earth-shattering experiences and prepare your heart for love.

Sweet, independent Cancer, now is not the time to be stubborn and think you can do things on your own. You need a village and you need it now. Accept the growth and help during this time. Allow for grace to flow your way and realize what change can happen when you’re surrounded by love. Act on love.

The eclipse that will be with us on the 14th will be transforming your life more than you ever knew before. You’ll feel recharged from the planetary helpers and ready to make the changes you have needed to make but were too nervous to do so. Have confidence that you’re headed in the right direction.

Your home life and personal life has never been stronger! Imagine what you want out of life, your career, and future. Map out what you want for 2021-2025; these next five years will be crucial to who you will be. Whatever you decide, go with your heart and all will be golden.

Be ready for a major change in your life that will coincide with the eclipse - it will be a shift that depending on how you react will change everything you knew before. You probably burned some bridges over the last few months and it’s time to face the music with some of the people that were affected.

Ease into the winter with the knowledge that it will be a relatively calm time for you, dear Scorpio. Family affairs will be ironed out this month and the normal stresses that you have around this time are non existent. Just be emotionally prepared for the obstacles that will come your way.

Toy Give Away While we started this year with so much hope to make the 2020 Toy Give Away the biggest yet, the global COVID-19 pandemic put a halt on our plans. As an organization, we tried to come up with safety protocols in the ever changing environment and we couldn’t effectively come up with a solution that would be safe to the community as a whole. We have made the painful decision to cancel our Annual Little Daubers Toy Give Aways in order to ensure the continued safety for the families & communities that we service in San Antonio, Austin, and Corpus Christi. We are already planning and looking forward to the 2021 Toy Give Aways! Here are a few pictures of the magic that was spread last year at the San Antonio location.

Noe’s mexican cafe

1912 N Austin St., Seguin, TX 78155 (830)491-5319

I ate two pork tamales. OMG! The tamales were to die for! They had the right amount of masa and pork. Best of all they weren’t greasy. There is no doubt that Noe’s Mexican cafe is “the spot”. We waited in line for a total of 20 min but it was definitely worth the wait.

SUDOKU

Games & puzzles Words go left, right, up, down, not diagonally, and can bend at a right angle. There are no unused letters in the grid and every letter is used only once.

The rules of Sudoku are that you should fill a number into every cell in the grid, using numbers 1 to 9. The restriction is that you can only use each number once in each row, each column and in each 3 x 3 boxes.
